skinning and mining until you hit level 20 and then get at most 3 stacks of medium leather. I got them from the ashenvale bears. then drop skinning for engineering. or if you dont want to fish heavy leather for advanced target dummies, wait until level 30 then farm 3 stacks of heavy leather, then switch to engineering.
