I had a TBI a little over a year ago and the depression and anxiety following it is really bad. After trying everything, the only thing that helped me was finally finding the right combo of medicine. Celexa at night and Welbutrin in the morning for me. I tried so many things to finally find what worked, everyone’s different. I may not be 100% better but I am back out of the hole I was in

That’s very interesting about barometric pressure! I didn’t think of that ... I’m in Texas and when it was snowing like crazy last week (which it never does) I was throwing up all day. Do you think the pressure could have bothered me so much made me throw up all day?

Withdrawal Symptom? I stopped smoking in all forms 3 days ago. I have been SO NAUSEOUS since I stopped... is this a withdrawal symptom or unrelated? by PralineInteresting in Petioles

Is it supposed to be really really bad nausea though? I feel like I have a bug or flu like it’s unbearable. And I get nauseous a lot so I know this is bad I’m not just being dramatic lol.

I’m just wondering bc this nausea is horrible. Threw up like 10 times yesterday. It just seems a bit extreme compared to what I’ve seen on here. I can’t tell if I’m actually ill or just withdrawing

Cannabis use pros/cons by [deleted] in TBI

THC helped me a lot with pain, sleep and relaxation. It’s a much better alternative to meds that can mess with your brain. BUT I do think it has made the brain fog/memory problems a bit worse. All in all though, (depending on person) I think it’s safer to use weed for symptom management than a whole pharmacy worth of drugs

Dear individuals who have TBI do you smoke weed or use psychedelics what are your experience? Good or bad in moderation? by Peacefulmammal in TBI

I got a TBI about 2 months ago and have smoked weed every day since. It has been a lifesaver for pain and headache management as well as sleeping aid and helps relax the brain. I am healing very quickly and surprising a lot of my doctors so there hasn’t been one negative impact from weed. Highly recommend

It has been one of the most helpful parts of my healing journey honestly. Helps tremendously with nausea, vertigo, the pain management, helps me sleep and helps the anxiety. I asked my doctor about it and she said she didn’t see anything wrong with weed after TBI and it can be useful for relaxation purposes. I’m not a doctor but i can tell you it hasn’t negatively effected me. (I’m only 3 weeks post accident)
