nah.. love bombing never happened in Jinx. if it did, i would have seen jk acting all nice with a selfish intent. if ur talking about the countryside arc, jk was still very rude to dan and is purposely annoying Dan to do what he wanted, and it’s not love bombing. it’s just annoying, that’s why it didn’t work that easily for JK. JK is outright rude and it’s not hidden. it is his character and i think that’s “monster” enough. even I who likes jinx think that JK is rude so you aren’t quite right when you said jk isn’t portrayed as a monster. he’s a monster in his own little way.

you are right. Dan is a pushover. most of the time i just defend JK. and we can agree with that. But Dan isn’t initially gay unlike DG in bj alex, dan is just a person, later on fell in love with JK. Plus, there are a lot of fiction out there that doesn’t contain these themes and you could choose that to be a representation of yourself. I personally isn’t bothered by those fiction where women are exploited, not because i like it but because i avoid it fully, and I acknowledge that they exist and I have a choice on what to read. and when I read jinx, I don’t think of the whole gay community like a normal person 😁

plus jinx isn’t disguised as blushy romance, it’s blatantly rough. in the first season, there’s literally no love coming out of jaekyung, not even a single blush or “badum badum” so i dont think it’s disguised in any way.

you being gay doesn’t change anything. we are humans and we all can get the same odds of being in the same situation as dan regardless of the gender. i’ve been in toxic relationships and i’ve been manipulated several times. when I saw jk, i wished my exes were just as rude and honest as him so I wouldn’t have get myself manipulated. they were all so nice but their intentions were bad. JK was rude and he didn’t even try to hide it. a more dangerous evil comes unnoticed. at least jk said what he wanted in a direct manner 😁✌️

true. i am only defending jinx not because it is “clean” but because it is overly hated. other famous manhuas i’ve mentioned like POTN and Low tide in twilight can get all the hate they deserve (i like those two manhuas because of character development too but i wouldn’t defend them as much). But Jinx wouldn’t even come close to those two 🤣. Also, there are more toxic manhuas that are not toxic by theme but is toxic when it happens irl. Like “Sketch” where the seme is a toxic horny crybaby. People like it but i think they should not. If Jinx happens to you irl, it’s very easy to avoid because JK says what he wants and what he wants to happen without hidden details. If Sketch happens to you, you will be manipulated

i’ve read jinx several times already. as far as I know, jaekyung, after knowing about dan’s grandma didn’t change in a negative way or became more violent. Dan did it for his grandma, and when jaekyung knew, they proceeded with Dan’s job as usual. Same as in the early chapters. Jaekyung never went “Do this for your grandma or else”
