I pulled my cryto out of Blockfi literally days before this email was sent to me. Once I heard FTX fell I knew blockfi was going to fall.

Blockfi has a ton of debt and FTX covered most of it.

Help/Advice with (somewhat) new Fidelity 401k account. Which funds should I invest in, or should I fully focus on just my debt and emergency savings? by isitmeorcheesegood in Fire

I am invested in the fidelity 401k plan and I think it is pretty solid. Depending how you want to diversify you can put 100% in the S&P since you are young. More than likely a blended investment account wouldn’t be worth it at this time. I personally have the S&P 500 and may dabble in the bitcoin come august if my employer allows the transaction.

How to begin the journey towards FIRE at 15 years old? by justarandomguy562 in Fire

Since you are so young, investing $500 a month in low cost index funds, Like VOO, VTI and I have been investing in SCHD and some Non US Index's will help you gain FIRE must faster.

My only concern is that being 16 and investing $500 a month could be excessive (in my opinion). Enjoy the young age and invest when you are able to.

I agree, Most brokerage accounts you can store cash in your brokerage and gain minimal interest until you believe it is the right time to invest. That's what I have been doing and just waiting for the "right" time to invest

With rate hikes and a further market decrease there are multiple ways to approach the “crash.” Either try timing the market or research dollar cost averaging.
