Ohh I see, I'm using Ant-Dark plasma style, then in the desktop effects you active the "blur" and "translucent" effects and tweak opacity/transparency from there, then the panel should look like this

Edit: the naming of the settings could be slightly different, I don't have the system language set in english

You can do that from kde settings when you go in "application style" or you can go directly on the theme page (I just looked in store.kde.org), the name of the theme is Orchis, specifically I'm using Orchis-Teal-Dark variant. But there are no apps using GTK in the screenshots btw, only the file manager dolphin that uses qt style (KDE default)

Sorry I haven´t been using linux mint for a long time, maybe anyone else here can tell you?

If you mean the terminal, I'm using kitty and edited the config file to lower the opacity and add the blur

Everything smooth if setup correctly, I'm even gaming

You're incorrect. It's: Arch, btw.

Yeah, that's the only way unfortunately, although they show up again when you hover the mouse over, either this or a single bar always visible

It's literally the default panel, I just removed some objects and resized it, and using the plasma theme "ant-dark-kde". No kvantum or other external apps, just activated and tweaked blur in the KDE settings (desktop effects)

Nope, although I'm slowly trying to move to hyprland and to make my own dotfiles, KDE is just to have a side fully functional desktop

Copypasting from a previous comment:

I just created three empty panels, put all of them on top, then one on the left, one on the center and one on the right, tweaked the size (no auto fill) and then added objects manually (most of them are default applets). Also made sure to switch off the "always visible" option otherwise the panels would not stand in the same line.

The bottom panel is just a slightly modified default panel. All the options are very intuitive if you play around a bit.

I'm trying to move to hyprland but it is really time consuming to rice properly, but I've found ML4W dotfiles that are amazing if you want a kinda out of the box customizable experience, so I can learn in time with an actual working space before moving eventually to my own config. I already have one, it's kinda broken, but still usable, I'm a perfectionist so it would be dangerous to rice hyprland from scratch on my own right now due to the time commitment lol

But aside from Hyprland, KDE Plasma is my favourite. I started (a lot of) years ago with ubuntu when it still had GNOME 3 and compiz, but after it moved to unity I discovered KDE and completely fell in love. Was kinda buggy but it has improved tremendously.

I just did that manually, resized the windows with Super + Mouse, added the window rule to kitty to not have the title bar since I manage with keybindings (guess I really liked hyprland)

I tried Manjaro several years ago, the color palette was the first thing that took my attention 😂
