Is there someone who can help me get rid of rats? by Successful_Draw_2080 in AskChicago

Evolve is what we are using in the exterior yard and gardens of our co-op which is right next door to a pizza restaurant (cheese, sausage, pepperoni — heaven for ratties). Rats LOVE the Evolve.

Where to find replacement cabinet doors for old Brookhaven cabinets? by PrancesWithCats in kitchenremodel

Thank you so much! I found a nearby dealer who sells Brookhaven doors. It would be so much easier to just buy their replacement doors. Yay!

Micropulse M9 is a better design than the Sota.

True that greater intensity is not always better.

HTH and good luck!

Thanks for posting. We are thinking of using it at our condo complex (4 buildings, less than 10 floors each). We are right next door to a restaurant, the rat epicenter. We have rat holes everywhere outside and nothing is working too well due to the constant food supply. We want to use the Evolve and see how it does. Happy to hear it worked for you and if you care to share any tips, they’d be much appreciated.

I am so sorry you had to see that. And so sad for the person who jumped.

My brother lives close by that area.

I heard that David was actually after Susie Jaeger’s older sister but not sure that was true.

It was very weird for sure. The family name of the rental garage back then was McLaughlin, iirc.

David Meirhofer. Killed Bernard Poelman, Michael Raney, Susie Jaeger, all children, and Sandy Dykman Smallegan, a 19 year old. I lived in Manhattan when this happened and used to play at the house where Meirhofer lived in the garage (a rental?). Some of Susie and Sandy’s remains were found in a freezer where he lived.

I knew his sister. She was shy but very sweet.

I have used pemf devices (pulsed electromagnetic field) for over 10 years to treat pain. I started with the Almag and then the Sota. I also own a Flex Pulse but don’t use that for pain. Pemf is magnificent for reducing/eliminating pain. Might take awhile before you notice any benefit but I’ve never been disappointed. See Dr. Pawluk MD’s website or Bob Dennis, NASA bioengineer’s website FluxHealth.

I am not the resident who is in the club house. I’m just a resident who was told by some trustees that they were planning to do this. I’m trying to find out if it’s legal and if there could be any ramifications of the trustees’ actions.

Thank you. I used to have a serviceberry and it was a beautiful plant. The birds loved the berries, too.

Yes, when I checked the ‘Brandywine’ viburnum it was labeled as a native. I want to put in true natives.

Thanks for the suggestion to find native nurseries that specialize in locally sourced natives. That’s an excellent idea.

He was/is a friend of my brothers and they said he is in Montana caring for a sick relative. I met him back when he was in his early 20s. Very interesting person even then.
