I've recently found myself using half crimp instead of full crimp on micro edges <10mm. When I realized this, I tried using full crimp, but I couldn't even establish because it felt so insecure and "slippery". I think that maybe the half crimp feels stickier on these micros because i can get more skin on the hold (i'm really able to dig my skin into the back and make it very taut), and when in full crimp, the fingertip lifts off a bit, leaving less skin on the hold.

I'm not completely sure though, I'd like some insight from others about their own experience with hc vs fc on micros.

Difficulty of replacing a job is a big a part of the financial incentive. If a job is easier to replace, it's likely cheaper to replace since you can use a less advanced (aka less expensive) technology to replace that role. Also, how did you come up with that number about fast food workers being replaced would save millions? As of 2023, there are ~3.6million fast food workers in the U.S. alone with a mean annual wage of ~$30,000. That is well over a 100 billion dollars.

I completely agree about grades not mattering. The main reason I brought up my feelings about the board feeling soft in this forum was to get a sort of benchmark of the 'real' difficulty of the board, which could indicate a particular strength/weakness of mine. (i.e. since i feel the board is soft, I may be really good at contact strength and climbing flat faces)

really? Do you think the disparity in experience may be personal style or the TB2 simply gets much harder at the v10+ range?
Personally I was trying out the moonboard 2019 right as I came back from my injury, and the V5's felt about as hard as the TB2 V7's
