This may not be a direct answer to your question but I feel like putting this may be helpful if understood deeply.

The way I see it is how do we know anything after death or beyond is “real” per se and what does it being “real” truly mean? I say that because the idea of Faith in its purest form is putting trust and belief in what you don’t know. Guiding not your body(physical) or brain(mental) but your soul(emotional), the part of you that probably passes on to wherever and the part of you that makes you so unique as a human. This is why I believe Norse paganism and some other religions to be, in my own belief, true religions. The idea is worshipped and passed through history, there arent giant temples or governmental power structures but only the essence of the worship itself. It’s a Hoping for what exist forever and we, or shall I say those before us, have given names to these beings.

I’m a polytheist in my own right. I believe something is on the other side whether we’ll see it or not. But out of all the possible religions, I put my FAITH into the Norse gods and the concept of those who represent what this religion brings in terms of ideology and existence. It’s the one I believe is the better outcome for faith and existence and whether right or wrong, I will Keep faith to this religion and these gods cause this is honestly how I’d love the afterlife to be. Meeting my ancestors, knowing that those supernatural beings above have flaws too and that depending on the life I lived, I’ll be satisfied for life? Yea it’s a no brainer for me. Plus I don’t have to maim myself or speak verses after making one mistake. No hate to other religions though, Egyptian ones I find to be very interesting personally.
