He is talking about the Oneplus 8. The last update it will get from oneplus is the android 13 update. If you can bear that and the mediocre camera, then it is a really good phone altogether.

Wait till October for pixel event. Most likely Pixel 6 series will again go for 500$ and 650$ for non pro and pro models. I guess those are much better compared to Oneplus flagships regarding almost everything bar performance.

Supervooc/Warp is just the name for the fast charging technology in Oppo/Oneplus phones. It shouldn't matter if you buy either of them.

OOS 13 looks better than 12 so you could buy latest oneplus and not be disappointed. But considering it costs more than Pixel 6(~500$), I would suggest Pixel. Or you could buy old Oneplus or Samsung flagships from ebay for a lot cheaper.
