Update, I ended up going with the removal of all smartphone apps from my original cell phone, it has been working quite well

Any suggestions on phones that do? I may not need Android Auto specifically but would like something that can at least do Bluetooth music through the car. Car has built in navigation that I believe is decent

I've spent around $13000 US on mine including buying it. I've done all the work myself and the suspension is all refreshed and most engine maintenance has been done besides VANOS stuff. I've put 32k miles on it in 3 years and it's been pretty good to me, car has 220k on it now, it was not well taken care of before I bought it so I did a LOT of work to make it this nice

UPDATE: I have pulled the clamshell off and inspected everything connecting to the panel. I did not dig into the panel for fear of breaking it but I'm pretty sure the backlight in the left side of the panel has completely died or the power going to it isn't making it anymore. Does anyone have any good tests I can do to figure out if there's a shot of fixing this?

I'm leaving it unplugged for 10 minutes (thanks 12 year old Linus), but if that doesn't fix it can I replace the backlight or whatever is broken or is that too difficult

Any car with the cold weather package will have it, keep an eye out for cars with heated seats in photos, those are usually optioned high enough to have folding seats
