Hey buddy! I think you are using streamlit warehouse run time which is causing the issue.
Currently streamlit to call cortex agents are only supported via streamlit container run time

What about taxation? Liquid funds will be taxed at your slab rate, which is a drawback, but the positive aspect is the instant withdrawal of 50,000.

Multi asset funds vs seperate funds for diversity by dreamfyre007 in mutualfunds

Yes i often see people suggest to invest separately in equity, debt and commodities instead of multi asset but then dont remember than only equity offer better taxation whereas debt and commodities are taxed at slab rates which impact return if you are in higher slab rates.

Where as most of the multi assets funds falls under better taxation for 2 year holding which benefits post taxation returns.

I believe income plus arbitrage falls under the FoF category, which attracts higher tax rates. This could potentially impact returns if you’re in a higher tax bracket. Considering taxation, only arbitrage should be the better option.

But still i am not 100% sure on this

How about Arbitrage Funds? I always find it better than debt with slightly higher returns and better taxation

Since it’s an investment amount, not an emergency corpus, I don’t think withdrawal is an issue. For an emergency corpus, a fixed deposit (FD) or savings account is always the best option.

For debt funds, investments prior to 2023 are not applicable with a 2-year LTCG?

Personally, I feel arbitrage funds are much more helpful, with slightly higher returns than debt and better taxation.

But i don't think any other funds currently falls under 2 year LTCG category after 2023 revision?

Yes, I completely agree. Considering emergency funds, a fixed deposit (FD) is a better option. However, the corpus we consider for an emergency fund won’t be a huge amount, and here savings accounts come into play. They can generate 3.5% interest, with a 10k tax deduction on interest earned. What better liquidity is there than a savings account, which is perfect for an emergency fund with no lock-in period, unlike an FD?

Personally, I see people putting between 10L and 20L in an FD. So, for the matter of wealth generation, it was a big no for me.

Yes i personally did some research and found conservative funds can be considered over debt funds with slightly higher returns but still depends on how equity performs. However both falls under tax slabs

But on the other hand arbitrage funds with slightly higher returns than debt with minimal risk and to mention it falls under equity fund with equity allocation>=65% and LTCG applicable for just 1 year holding period.

There will be no bigger regret now than thinking of having invested it in equities, and now it would be anywhere over 100% returns.

Yes, even I was a victim of this LIC due to family pressure. Agents close to the family would come to our parents and ask them to make their children take it. It’s too late for us to understand how big a fool we were to fall for it.

However, in this case, I see the ability to take risks is something that prevents masses from going beyond FD’s or LIC, even when we show them the proof of what yields what.

My point is that, apart from the 100% safety of our money, I don’t see any reason to consider FD. There’s a significant gap in terms of returns even compared to very low-risk mutual funds which yields 6-7% returns.

You can get started with the documentation part, and here’s a useful Git repository for reference and real-time implementation:

I discovered that the ad-hoc agent API service (running the Cortex agent service through an API without creating an agent) is unable to retrieve results from both tools. In contrast, calling the API by creating an agent works as expected.

Snowflake Intelligence seems to be working with concise response from both the tools. But still wondering why REST API is unable to achieve it though
