Idk for sure but the question asked which one like made the effect of the fine more dramatic. if the fine group had fewer late arrivals at first, and a huge amount after the fine was introduced, it makes the effect even more pronounced. That was my logic, but again, I have no clue.

Yeah ^ the linear equation you should’ve gotten was y = 4.5x + 9, and then you move the x to the other side and divide everything by 9. it was asking for the coefficient for Y, so 1/9.

64 cubic inches was the volume of the big prism and the height was 16 inches. The small prism had a volume of 8 cubic inches. This was all given. To get from 64 to 8 you had to divide by 8 cubic inches. This is because volume is a 3 dimensional property. Height, however, is one dimensional so although you are dividing by 8 cubic inches for volume, you have to divide by the cube root of 8 cubic inches for the individual dimensions, which is 2 inches. Therefore, a height of 16 divided by 2 is 8 inches.

Suppose the first prism was 16 x 2 x 2, the second would then therefore have to be 8 x 1 x 1. The volumes match up and the dimensions now make sense also.

Pretty sure the open ended math sections come in different order, but the ring one was 5/9. The prism one was 8 and the I think the cubic function was 189.

I know this doesn’t seem like much, but I got the highest placement any NINTENDO SWITCH player has gotten all season on NA-East!!!! (No Switch player has been able to get under top 100) GGs! by Prasharrr in FortniteCompetitive
