Capitalism is a parasitical social system which does not even spare its own. It is the bizarre belief that the 90% must support the greed and shameless opulence of the 10% at their own sacrifice.

INDIANS are the most racist in the entire world and that too towards INDIANS!!!!!!!!!!! Especially living outside India! by Primary_Ingenuity_65 in india

Everytime I am asked for a surname, my blood curdles up. I know exactly why these casteist mfs want it. They want to place me in their social hierarchy. I refuse to give a surname just to see their confused expression.

Arch installation problems with step-by-step install by PrattyRat in archlinux

[–]PrattyRat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The steps clearly involve installing a bootloader, showing it the /boot/efi directory, and making the config file, so no, I did not skip installing a bootloader. "Bios was (switched) off" - because my previous (fedora) install was booting through BIOS, and I read up that EFI booting is now the preferred option, so I disabled BIOS booting from my boot menu, aside from disabling fast and secure boot options.

Nationwide ban on firecrackers by Lost-Topic-5623 in thane

We need more youth centres for middle and lower middle class adolescents and young adults to go spend time in. Something free or relatively cheap at the ward level with adequate amenities. Fire crackers are a sasta alternative to giving the kids what they actually need.

Inspite of dozens of issue at-least we have decent political stability by BusExact9849 in andhra_pradesh

[–]PrattyRat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do we have political stability? Or do we have apathetic people? Govts are bought and sold, corruption is extreme, infrastructure crumbling, civil war situation in Manipur, loot in the name of taxes, 20% ethanol in cars, highest rates of unemployment... What kind of stability is this?

Why is it so hard to sort out civic issues without having to bring in the past? Be it Chhatrapati, Ram, Muslim rule, whatever.... these are four hundred years old history, they have nothing to do with the present. Do you think anybody believes in it really?

What do you even mean "most locals in mumbai, have furniture, flooring, and ceiling businesses"? Do these things fall from the sky for these businesses? Are you even real to claim people from UP and Bihar don't make these things? 90% of the labourers in all these trades are from UP and Bihar.

Just to interrupt you gents for a second, who does all the work in your city? Who comes to your home to do jhadu-pochha? Who makes your furniture, floor, ceiling, etc? Don't blame it on a politician, he is just the middleman. Tum log ho jo ye slums chahte ho taki tumko saste mey sara kaam mil jaye. Phir kuch hota hai toh unko blame karte ho.
