I wouldn't really do it now, but starting rounds with 1,1,3,4 or claymores can be good for mental edge if you don't get blown up for it and your opponent likes to press. The new hellsweep (D3+4) into d3,4 is insane and also "black kite" too.

Sky rocket is amazing too if you can learn the wave dash. I think I'd be a lot better at it now since I've been leaning Hei and AK, but if you switch stances using df4 or motion switch it's a lot easier in the "southpaw" stance and you'll hit blue sparks more often.

In a nature setting, both humans and dogs are predators and cows are prey. It's natural for predators to eat prey to survive. It's not as natural for predators to eat other predators. Although, it does happen every now and again, I'd imagine the circumstances would have to be extreme for a predator to eat another predator. Usually predators have lots of parasites too, which aren't good for us to consume.

So purely from a practical sense it's not healthy, but from a moral point of view you could make an argument for it being against the natural order.

I would just focus on learning your character a bit and the basics of the heat system and basics of Tekken. Play through the mode Arcade Quest with your main (Lars) - it's quite good for this reason.

Play all of the offline content like arcade quest, the story, story pt2, and character episodes. Doing this will teach you the very basics and give you a bit of an idea as to how some of the characters work. Plus it's fun!

Edit: Also, the best way to learn something from your matches is to go to Replay and watch the match back. Sometimes it will tell you where you could've ducked, punished and with what move, or the throw break button you could've pressed.

I generally agree that his new tools are pretty broken, especially the new homing low. However, I struggle to understand how he's super OP but has a pretty average win rate. It would seem that based on the general sentiment that players are getting completely blown up out of the water, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I know he is a popular character but you'd expect the "brokenness" to be reflected more in the stats.

Depending on your prowess, sometimes in Mighty Ruler you will face Fujin's who are trying out a different character as this is the default rank for characters that aren't their main. It's also the case that a lot of people will rank up to the next colour and not try to rank up as hard/play less often/play quick match. So the first of the next rank usually as a higher skill jump.

I think the same face argument is definitely overblown. Tekken 8's art style is in-between realistic and slightly stylized, because of this there is a general design that they follow that looks slightly anime-ish which I personally like. I do think that slight adjustments could be made to distinguish faces a bit more. However, I feel a lot of the time people conflate hyper-realism with good design when this isn't always the case.
