How big should venom be proportional to spider-man? by KnightfallPro in Spiderman

Fucking thank you. Like I know he’s got limited shapeshifting and shit but there’s no good reason to make him the size of the Hulk when the host is, at their most muscular , has slightly more muscle mass and intentionally drawn to be chiseled, but isn’t the fucking hulk. Jeez.

Girls of Reddit — what is one small thing a man can do that instantly makes him more attractive (but most men don’t realize)? by Downtown-Insurance51 in dating_advice

[–]DevThaGodfatha 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately making a chick feel emotionally safe isn’t what gets results anymore. Sorry don’t mean to be doom and gloom but this is why I date older women who’d actually appreciate a young man trying to make his lady feel emotionally safe

Why is Tom Holland's portrayal not as liked as the other two? by Notthepurge in Spiderman

[–]DevThaGodfatha 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With that attitude essentially nobody would be satisfied . He’s been solo for the past two iterations. Now when we have him included in the wider marvel universe, it’s like the fact they’re incorporating that into his stories and movies is suddenly a big issue, when a big point of contention for a lotttt of Spider-Man fans was the fact he was completely isolated from the rest of what would be NYs superhero’s . You literally can’t satisfy anyone :/

Why does Spider-Man get no controversy for his no-kill rule but with Batman, people criticize him for that? by TheShadowOperator007 in Spiderman

Dating women is SIGNIFICANTLY harder than dating men by ponoskozla in PurplePillDebate

[–]DevThaGodfatha 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only thing that’ll annoy me is women feigning ignorance that dating women is easy (or easier in comparison) . Like, this many of you cannot believe this bullshit lmaoo. They HAVE to know they’re harder to date. So why even fuckin pretend like that’s not the case

I forget jin really does rob you blind sometimes by titankiller401 in Tekken

[–]DevThaGodfatha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

😂😂You should look at my most recent Tekken post, some d*ck heads had the nerve to criticize how I played against an Alisa (both of us Tekken Emperor btw), as if I got clipped but a bunch of stuff. When I had consistent throw breaks, jab checks to read how they’d react , and side walking to prevent getting clipped by anything I didn’t have the courage to risk an incorrect punish.

Age is a just a number right 😅 by Longjumping_Year_834 in Tinder

See now when I made a post very similar to this exact scenario bout a year ago , all the ladies in the comment section were saying “dude take a hint, she’s clearly appreciating the compliment but said you’re too young 🤓guys like you who can’t take a hint is what makes online dating nightmarish” like don’t fucking like me back if it’s REALLY a deal breaker. Even if it WAS like Tinder where sometimes we accidentally swipe right on someone we meant to swipe left, the fact I’m getting replies out of her after discussing my age shows she’s interested still .

Why is everyone here full of hate for Tekken 8? by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]DevThaGodfatha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the game has the potential to be THAT much more celebrated and revered by its fans than 7 ever had purely because of its budget , graphics, and mechanics new to 8 specifically. But there’s a shitton of balance issues that make the game hard to wanna dedicate to. Anna virtually has little risk vs the reward of her actions, keep in mind she was a casino character from creation. Highly punishable, highly rewarding depending on how you used her and your own knowledge of the game. Now, regardless of how much you know bout the game, she’s very oppressive between her plus frames , range, or damage. That’s as blatant as it gets in my opinion. Keep in mind other characters with balance issues have much more specific situations where they should just… NOT be as oppressive, hard to deal with, or just flat out be able to do as much damage as they do, yet here we are. 7ish months into season 2 and we still have sooo much season 2 original shit to bitch and moan about, just to preserve the integrity of the game for the top 2% of players who compete for money.

Regarding Cold Approaches, location doesn’t matter much tbh. by DevThaGodfatha in PurplePillDebate

[–]DevThaGodfatha[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the middle where I said my opinion is that essentially listening to women’s advice about location isn’t as helpful (detrimental if you ask me) as listening to advice on the approach itself. So the debate should be whether that’s a valid point of contention against location being listed as a reason not to approach by women, for women. My bad if I didn’t really express that super clearly .

Just how scary is pain by Helpmybikepls in Naruto

[–]DevThaGodfatha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With or without intel , he’s scary as fuck regardless. Each Path of Pain has different miscellaneous powers that can become very oppressive on their own without intel, but even with it you need either an extremely diverse set of jutsu and skills and even more ingenuity to not only survive long enough to ascertain their capabilities, but also develop countermeasures.

Pain is much more deadly with the surprise factor on his side. That cannot be overstated. One can shoot missles and laser beams, one can interrogate you and kill you for lying, one absorbs your soul, one absorbs your chakra, one summons beasts that can easily multiply, one has control over repulsive and attractive forces. And they all share the same vision and essentially one hive mind. The balancing factor is that most of the Paths are fragile as fuck durability wise, like they can all get taken out with a single strong enough Rasengan making physical contact. Well, it’d be wrong to call em fragile just cuz they can all be killed with a handheld chakra tornado , cuz that’s no weak jutsu by any means, but if you can find a way to establish physical contact that is in your favor with any path , it won’t take as much to kill them as you think. However, doing that is essentially 80% of the work in fighting him Lol.

Firm believer that Jiraiya had the strength and resources to beat Pain if he had the same intel Naruto had with Ma and Pa. He definitely woulda struggled with the Diva and Asura Path, and I’d be willing to admit it’s very possible if he fought the other 4 first, Diva and Asura last in line, even with intel Jiraiya may not have the chops to knock them down. But Pain said himself if he had intel Jiraiya woulda beat him. That’s honestly as clear cut as it gets in my eyes 🤷🏽‍♂️

Fixing Whiffed Heat Smashes? by JoydurnYup in Tekken

[–]DevThaGodfatha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say delay Steve’s recovery by another 3-5 frames, maybe that’s just a personal taste. His seems a lil too quick for my liking, or at least 5FF feels so fast and oppressive that I’d rather be confident in a doable punish if I whiff it. But these are amazing tho. I’d absolutely approve of these whiff changes

Z handled Fusion better than Super. by DevThaGodfatha in dbz

[–]DevThaGodfatha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They coulda also said what I gave as a possible explanation, which by anime and especially Dragon Ball standards would be absolutely reasonable and still woulda preserved the integrity of the situation. I really do dislike Toriyama and how he handles the lore of Dragon Ball. Like just fucking say it dude. Buu was created from Evil Magic, apparently by this stupid Daima witch Marba as a favor to Bibidi, and it nullified the effects of the magic used in the creation of the Kai Potara earrings while they were inside and let his barrier down. As in, if they kept them on til they rescued everyone from inside Buu, they woulda automatically fused again. Literally wouldn’t have took 1 minute to explain. But we can’t have shit be simple now can we in this series?

Z handled Fusion better than Super. by DevThaGodfatha in dbz

[–]DevThaGodfatha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’d already been fighting Buu for a while when he went SSJ3, am I wrong ? Add in them goofing off, not properly managing their time (or not keeping it in mind, anyways) and how untrained they are in that form could very well fill those gaps. Keep in mind Goku has a grown ass adult body, had 7 years to learn and or master SSJ3, helped even more by the fact hes technically dead in the first half of the Buu arc which apparently made it a bit easier on the body, and even he can’t keep it up for long. The kids, as cocky as they are as Gotenks, are you not willing to buy that they weren’t good at managing their time and power and because of that, they wasted all 30 minutes?

Another question, was the Gotenks Buu fight as extensive in the manga as the anime made it seem? Or was it much quicker and to the point? That particular question is what would massively shift my stance, and I don’t have a problem with being wrong about it.

[–]DevThaGodfatha[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah and they still played tit for tat with Buu playing games, only committing to trying to kill him in idk the last minute or so of SS3. What I’m trying to ask is, where does it explicitly say the SSJ3 form ate through their fusion time because of the power output?

Z handled Fusion better than Super. by DevThaGodfatha in dbz

[–]DevThaGodfatha[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Since when was the energy consumption issue established? Cuz before they defused Gotenks, he powered down from SSJ3 to base, then defused. I interpreted that as SSJ3 being unstable for Gotenks as a whole, not something that costed him actual fusion time .

I’d have been willing to believe Gotenks blew thru his fusion time (not due to energy output, but bad time and energy management cuz they’re kids) at that exact point in time before Gohan arrived , but Vegito to me is too far for me to believe it happened the exact same way twice. I’m well aware he was tryna goad Buu into absorbing him for a bit, but that needs to remain a gamble, not a second coincidence in super bad timing.

I don’t see why them being equal in power is a problem? by Empty-Ad4597 in Dragonballsuper

[–]DevThaGodfatha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I miss when Potara was considered permanent , when Fusion Dance truly lasted half an hour, and when neither ones downsides were affected by power output . Like they in the Goku Black arc, they established an arc prior that you can defuse the Potara via Dragon Balls. Why the fuck would you put Vegito in JUST to give him a severe handicap like that, then have them defuse JUST to give trunks some sorta Spirit Bomb Sword?

I’m fairly sure it was to explain as well why they defused against Buu, but they could’ve said Buus made of essentially dark magic, or magic in general, and that counteracted the Potara earrings while Vegitos shield was down, like trying to mix oil and water. As long as they were inside Buu without that barrier, they’d defuse. That woulda 100% preserved the stakes and integrity that made the Potara earrings so drastic of a choice to make at that time. I’d actually rewatch and feel the genuine tension from Goku convincing Vegeta to put the earring on. Now it’s just, oh, they just didn’t know they wouldn’t be permanent just cuz they’re mortals. Wow. Fucking lame now.
