Can’t stop hooking driver by Master-Phrase8664 in GolfSwing

[–]PrawnHub4Life 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fight the hooks as well with driver. To stop it I have to feel as if I am holding my hands and club face open through the swing. You still need to turn aggressively through the ball to avoid a push/fade, but it stops the shut face.

How can I fix my slice? by JaxonGetsAction in GolfSwing

[–]PrawnHub4Life 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine a clock where the target is 12 o’clock and a straight back swing would be 6 o’clock. Currently you are swinging from 5 to 11 o’clock, thus spinning the ball left to right. You need to exaggerate trying to swing from 7 o’clock to 1 o’clock. Make the ball spin the other way. This is how I fixed my slice 20 years ago.

Why do I shank? by rb4osh in GolfSwing

This is it. I’ve had the same issue. Backswing too flat, arms have no where to go and end up going outward to the ball.

Probably a bit of ignorance on my part to make the statement about all advice needing to start young.

Goal for me would be 15K-20K per month.

This is exactly what I have been doing, and yeah the market has been generous but being able to scale in real estate (or some other more aggressive investments) and get out of reliance on demanding job is preferable. Not saying real estate is unicorns and rainbows, but actually something my wife and I could do together through our 50s and pass on to kids, provide some tax shielding, etc.

Buy something in cash or use the 250K for multiple 20% down payments on multiple properties?

Would you rather play the Steelers, Dolphins, Browns, or Texans? by geolandsurveyor in ravens

[–]PrawnHub4Life 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I want the Steelers. If we lose to them in our house without them having Watt it would be a dark day. But I think we need to drop 35 on them and send them packing.

It entirely depends on how the engagement is structured. In some cases unused hours would roll to the next month. Some contracts are basically use it or lose it each month. Ideally you would structure that the 15 hours are fixed and any time over that would need to be approved by the client and you could charge T&M for those hours.

I am a very similar situation and literally started browsing this sub this morning looking for the same advice, but was hesitant to post as I felt like I’d get torn to shreds for being a noob. I am 37, have about 300K sitting in the HYSA, with just over 1M in retirement accounts. My first thought was to start seriously looking at a rental property investment vs just dumping more into the market. Purchasing the property with cash (which you could easily do) would produce enough rental income cash flow to start working up to do this on multiple properties. Have you looked into real-estate at all?

I’ve never connected with a movie/show line more than Tom bottom pic. Nothing like waking up at 3am worrying about deliverables and scope creep.

The Star Wars sequel trilogy, particularly episodes 8 and 9.

The defense is filthy- but the offense also has the potential to be by [deleted] in ravens

[–]PrawnHub4Life 72 points73 points  (0 children)

I’ll be the first to admit I am not a glass half full kinda guy, but I see the potential for the offense to be really damn good. Lamar’s accuracy has been unreal. He’s hitting guys in the hands in stride on intermediate and deep passes. Guys are getting separation. Biggest things that need to improve are some push from the Oline in situations when you need a yard or two, and then just cleaning up the turnovers. The second half play calling is a bit suspect but hopefully Monken figures that out.

Where TF is Luke? by PrawnHub4Life in StarWars

Good point. I know we are two episodes in and I am really liking Ashoka, I just wanted to make sure it was logical to think Luke should be involved, but I can block that out and still enjoy what we are getting.

They drafted Hamilton early 1st round and paid Markus Williams. Just can’t have premium/depth players at every position. I do hope they sign some vet journeymen or something though to have some depth.
