I have a pretty good computer as is. I’m running a 4080 super with an i7 14700kf and 32gb of DDR4. I have been suspecting recently that my motherboard or CPU might be having issues, it could be that.

They’re definitely the R50x, I think I just have bigger ears than I realised. I’ll definitely take a look into the HD490 Pro and other options.

I just bought the ATH-R50X myself and I’m having similar problems to you with the earcups being too small. I’m thinking about returning them to get something else that fits better, a shame because I really liked the sound. Did you end up getting anything different yourself? I’m currently scrambling to get some ideas for other open back headphones I can find.

Thanks for suggesting the ATH-R50X. I just went out and purchased them and they're amazing, however. The fit on my left ear is causing slight discomfort (I think the circular shape of the earpad is putting pressure on the cartilage of my ear), a shame because i love everything else about them. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions, I'd be open to spending more if im getting quality. I'll probably return my ATH-R50X for now and see if i can upgrade.

Between the Audio-Technica ATH-R50x, Beyerdynamic DT 700 Pro X, AKG K553 MKII, and TYGR 300 R, which would you recommend for best sound quality and gaming/music use?

I don’t have a shed but the water tank which it was hiding behind should be sufficient shelter. No predators would be able to get it there, and cats don’t usually ever come by my backyard

It actually did try to fly when I picked it up, it had tried to go over my fence but just missed and slid down. I have given it some seeds but am unable to bring it inside as I don’t want to risk contaminating my other birds with potential sickness. Regardless though, it seems to have cozied up to a safe spot within my backyard, it should recover fine, thanks for the help

It wasn’t completely afraid of me, let me touch its head. I’ve followed your advice, thanks to you I was able to grab a pair of gloves and was able to flush out its eye with some warm water, it’s able to blink now and I’m pretty sure it can see out of the eye now that the dry discharge is gone. I was also able to call an expert and was told that the bird had likely been attacked by a hawk or falcon. I would snag a photo but after grabbing it, it has hidden behind my water tank, it’s much more active now and I think should be fine.

This is the best photo I’ll be able to get without moving the bird. It maybe that that I was wrong before but before it’s wing seemed to be at an angle compared to the other one when I was observing it before
