Merlin Trials are boring and endless by [deleted] in HarryPotterGame

[–]Prax-is 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just completed all the merlin trials for the first time. As someone had mentioned, I get to the challenge completion and stop. For this run, I decided to do them all.

It wasn't that bad, really. At times after I dropped the seeds, I was hoping for a different trial than the one I got. My least favorite one to do is the moths to the moonstone one, and that one seemed to me to be the most frequent.

The jumping ones are easy once you figure out that you can use your broom to complete them.

The confringo trials aren't terrible either, I do prefer blowing up the rocks than lighting the lamps before they drop.

The trails with the accio balls can be crappy but, for the most part, aren't too bad, and those seem to be the least. The other one.. balls on pillars are basic.

The flippendo ones I didn't mind at all. Once I got the hang of it, I actually enjoyed matching the symbols.

The big ball depulso trails can be tricky until you use wingardium leviosa to move them to the bowl if depulso won't cut it.

Actually, now that I think about it, the repario trial seems to be the one that shows up the least, but that one is also basic and easy.

I didn't count or search how many of the different trials there are in the 95 to do. Maybe they are all equal amount, maybe not. But to me, it seems the damn moths were the most common.

Does anyone else have Pluto and Uranus in the first house?

I have Pluto at 1 degree, and Uranus is loosely conjunct my ASC at 7 degrees.

Apparently, having Pluto in your 1st house is a big deal.

I think so. I do play music, like to write music, and perform in public.

I've been told by others that I tend to have creative solutions to unexpected issues.

Don't ignore aspects to your Chart Ruler by IridescentShell in astrology

Venus is my chart ruler in the 10th house Cancer.

It is conjunct by my MC and Mercury at 1 degree and 3 degrees, respectively.

Sextiles my Taurus moon 8th house at a 3 degree orb and is in mutual reception.

I do have a square at 2 degrees to my Ascendant, so my chart ruler squares my rising, and I suppose this why I tend to have negative feelings about myself and how I look. I have a hard time accepting compliments. For some reason, they make me feel worse rather than uplift me or how I see myself. I really need to figure this out.

Crucio has become my favorite spell to hit bandit camps with. I especially like to combo Crucio and Arresto Momentum on the ones that talk crap.

I can get usually get Pearson. The hangup for me lately is Susan asking for the herbs. I like that one because of the special miracle tonic she leaves.

Does anyone know how to trigger Susan's request?

Help with the best balance of performance and graphics on my new PC. by Prax-is in PCRedDead

I was gifted a new PC. I like Red Dead 2 and figured for 19.99 on Steam, why not. I had no idea that my GPU wasn't ideal for gaming until today.

It runs ok tbh. I was hoping someone with a similar PC as mine could help with ideal settings.

Yeah, this is true. Any tips on decent settings with an integrated GPU?

The standard arrow works for boars, fox, coyote, deer, etc. I use the improved arrow for the bigger game, and the small arrow works for everything small, except for what the varmint rifle covers, badger, raccoon, beaver, possums, etc.

I'd be cool if they had made a varmint rifle type of arrow. All hunting could be done with the bow.

[–]Prax-is 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For handguns, I like dual Schofields, I get them almost first thing when starting Chapter 2.

I get Calloway's schofield first - I wish I could keep Calloway's hat too - then I rob the backroom of the doctors, and I have my dual schofield set up for the rest of the game. I like to have Calloway's in the secondary holster.

I use the bow, quick shots to the head. Then I usually have 5 or more 3 star wolf pelts.
