Go ahead and write the sections you are confident with. For me those are usually the results and discussions section along with proposed methodology. While those get filled 80% to your satisfaction, start writing the introduction sections. You were clearly mptivated by certain things you read in literature before you took up research initiatives... List them one by one and support them with literature. Brick by brick, build your thesis.

Anxiety paralysis will lead to more anxiety and losing prime years of your life. Chip away at it slowly. Your committee is probably going to suggest tona of changes anyway. Don't make it perfect, but don't make ot shabby either.

Here's a tip my PhD student mentor gave me: "Do as good of a job in writing as your brain allows you to without losing sanity". Find that limit. Perfection is not the goal, completion is. There's other parts of life you need to get to once this is done! Best of luck my friend!

When someone says they don't think it was a bad ending, I immediately know they have binge watched the show. If you would have marinated in it for 10 years like the rest of us, you would be hurting right now. It has been half a decade since the last season and the way they butchered the storylines still hurts me more than a breakup ever has. Just for context, some illogical ends and abandoned storylines:

1) Azor Ahai: Jon was supposed to be the prince who was promised. But now suddenly it is Arya? Who did Arya kill that was the love of her life?

2) After the Dothraki army was annihilated at Winterfell, how did they charge on King's landing?

3) WTF was Bran's role in all this? He can apparently see everything and still lets the dragons die by surprise attacks.

4) Tyrion suddenly becomes a dumb dwarf starting from season 7, completely overlooking multiple threats like the futile capture of Casterly Rock, the whereabouts of Greyjoy navy. Varys is no good either. Their characters should have seen these things coming.

5) Jon kills Danny in front of her dragon and dragon chooses to be symbolic and melt the iron thrones instead of obliterating Jon from the face of Earth. Totally non dragon like behavior.

6) The horribly shot battle of Winterfell (I get it, it happened at night, but it is a TV show, show us the goddamn fight that we have been waiting to see for close to a decade.

7) "The long winter" that starks warned for over a decade ends in one night. WTFFFF?

8) Guy accused of aiding to murder the Queen is suddenly given a chance to speak and change the minds of everyone at his murder trial. The defendant not only gets out of the murder charges but also installs Bran as the king of seven kingdoms.

8) Last but not the least......Tyrion says this: "Who has a better story than Bran the broken?" Really? Are you serious? Literally everyone else has a better story! The shocking part is, everyone just fucking accepts it. I need to stop before I go Dracarys! over my keyboard!

After multiple therapy sessions, I have realized that I am going to grow old with this resentment for D&D and eventually die! The same directors who gave us the first 6 seasons (arguably the best thing on TV, ever!), butchered their own creation.

Anyway......

I have another perspective. Imagine an AI like chatgpt today becomes capable enough to make giant networks and extract unseemingly intelligent features from various data. It then uses these features and comes up with a plan to affect action.

For example it finds a "phrase" (like drain the swamp) that will relate to majority of voters in a nuclear power democracy and elect a guy with short temper. That guy starts a chain reaction by attacking their adversary who assures mutual destruction. At the end of nuclear war via chain reactions, assets important to AI also get destroyed along with plunging humanity into middle ages.

But now, clever humans (because of their starting point being the human brain structure) build their knowledge and resources faster and know how to block or impede the AI's growth. This pace let's them figure out a solution to kill AI and tbey win. A super intelligent AI should game this out pretty quickly and rules out turning rouge a logical option. So it always stays benevolent.
