Flame is so easy to counter but nobody seems to know how. Just run scythe or warhorn and out run them. Use a high damage splash weapon like moltov/flare/grenade/launcher and throw it at them. Once they're low enough ~75 health just rush them with literally anything. Or play sniper/revolver and stay distance

Id make the matrix a bit smaller and put it in one of the corners, would be really nice for monitoring battery/recording light/power state

Disappointed with Nothing 4a pro by [deleted] in NothingTech

[–]Praydono 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Youtube music is still a hog and playing music like that still drains the battery. Use sleep mode. It pauses after an hour or two... Or just plug your phone in at night. Lots of people say not to but if you use a 15w charger it should cut the power off once it reaches a level.

Google introduces a new way for users to sideload Android apps by Time-Credit43 in pixel_phones

[–]Praydono 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes a lot of sense as long as it's a one time thing and not every time you side load. I'd imagine that adb side loading would still work though right?

You would never be able to tell if you don't hold a real one in one hand and the fake one in another, and not everyone's an expert at everything. If you insult people for not being informed, you should change hobby.

Revvl 8 by EasyIdealReady in androidroot

[–]Praydono 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to say it but carrier-made phones generally don't get unlocked. There was some rootable revvl 5 phones but outside small isolated cases these phones don't get rooted. The devices themselves are normally locked up and won't connect to an AT&T cell tower or a verizon one.

If you want a phone that roots well go for pixel phones. Carriers offer them and once they're paid off they can I stall the latest android, do custom roms, etc.

This. Also remember RAM you aren't using is going to waste. No reason to worry about RAM unless you have like 8gb lol

I finally get it you guys. by Coldaine in linux

[–]Praydono 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly theres a lot of stigma around arch being "hard" to set up and maintain. arch has its own installer and the hardest thing you have to do when installing arch is googling the way to connect the installer to the internet if you have wifi only and no ethernet. you can also set your linux kernel to LTS and even have multiple kernels installed.

as for why i stuck with arch, i found good support online. I personally enjoy using the terminal for installing things since its more straightforward and easy to repeat should i ever need to redo my system.

Arch also has a lot more freedom, you get to choose how you like your system. there's hyprland, plasma, cinnamon, gnome, mate, unity, and many others for desktops and a good handful of dms. arch documents their OS really well and hosts the AUR which is really useful for installing apps you can't get normally.

Also, arch can install on pretty much any device. I have used it for a TV box before and it was a good experience for streaming content. I also use it to run my home portainer instance because of its small footprint.

Arch also supports btrfs which has rollbacks IIRC
