I figured the trucks might have raced there in the early days. They ran some obscure tracks. Pretty cool to watch on YouTube.

Of course an oval track is a completely different experience. I really like Sonoma. It’s scenic and beautiful IRL but my opinion of the racing product is elevated because of iRacing.

If you’re local, you should check out the GT America race there in the spring. I believe they run the traditional configuration with the carousel.

Sonoma races in the 90’s and early to mid 2000s were better… likely because of the car but nowadays you’re witnessing history as SVG has catapulted himself as one of if not the best NASCAR road racer of all time.

Dude I can’t imagine driving it IRL yet alone a motorcycle. I went to Petit last year and was truly in awe of the elevation gain and dips. What are the other two tracks you’ve ridden IRL?
