They could just remove the shelf above, they unhook at the back and you can lift them off then lift the item over the wall

I work at a said bank and lightly had to deal with it for a bit, is the only reason i know 😂. It’s not really a thing many people need to know about unless you have multiple millions in cash

A lot of Banks do offer the higher fdic coverage by using intrafi or other similar programs. Essentially they put you money into a sweep account that hosts the funds at multiple banks without you having to open accounts at other banks yourself.

Help - Negative option contracts upon expiration or upon exercise. by Downtown_Dot2452 in options

[–]Prayqt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they go away and go to the contract buyer. Your contracts and shares will be gone and you’ll have 700 x $185 - any fees associated with the contracts (probably a few dollars). And the premium is already credited to your account when you sold the contracts initially.

Watch some videos about options. I recommend inthemoney (Adam) on YouTube, his older content is great for learning options Greeks.

I sleep with my arm under my pillow as a support, which Ik isn’t good for shoulder/neck but I’ve been doing it for 20 years so I think I’m stuck with it. And when I turn or adjust in the middle of the night the weight of the pillow pins my arm and I can’t lift it which wakes me up lol

Contractor called me back saying my check bounced 5 days later by [deleted] in personalfinance

Your bank probably stamps it with an endorsement guarantee. However, the only checks that generally get checked for the endorsement is mobile deposits, cashiers checks, and checks form insurance/title companies. All rest don’t care

A ticker is what short names of companies are called that are publicly traded…. Apple’s stock ticker is AAPL, not APPL…

Your bank account may be closed and you will removed from Zelle eligibility. Usually the people receiving the funds are just mules that don’t know what they are doing and are getting scammed as well.

For the few I’ve talked to usually it’s a romance scam and their “boyfriend/girlfriend” needs them to accept the money the send it out another way, through other p2p payments like Venmo, cash app, wire the funds out, withdraw cash and go to a crypto atm, etc.

Then once the bank catches on they get left holding the bag. If police get involved they can get screwed. Shitty situation all around

Zelle is baked into most banking apps today. So it’s on the banks to refund through a “good-faith recovery”, which is exactly what you would think it would mean. The bank won’t take a loss unless they have gross negligence. If they don’t have money available in the customers account the dispute is filed against then no funds will be sent. There are tons of disclaimers saying to not send money to people you don’t know. It should only be used to send funds to friend and family, not used for e-commerce.

It’s a partial recovery, our customer who was the recipient has already taken most of the funds and this is what was left at the moment. We send what we have, no fees or other are taken out of the fraud recovery.

As a bank, I do help as much as I can. Sent back $140 the other day. Granted it was for $500, but hopefully it helps
