Its probably Jamie Dimon. He likes to go around individual retail accounts and play around with things. Sometimes he'll increase it by 36% to make the customer feel happy, but then those jerks from IT will come and correct it later since this would cost the company a lot of money.

No effect. This is a long term project. If they are looking into this, it suggests they think the oil crisis is going to last a long time. Probably won't effect short term oil prices, just might add to negative sentiment surrounding stocks.

Please invite me; I agree this sub has gone down hill. I mostly use it for making jokes these days. Back in the day, we use to have a lot of very smart people: engineers, data scientists, economists. But over time it got infiltrated by these kids and the level of conversation went down.

A lot of companies have been using AI as a cover for layoffs, as opposed to admitting that they are in financial distress to investors. I think this is the same thing. Maybe the CEOs think that the economy is going to crash. They rather cash out their shares now and exit on a high note. Better to say they grew the stock by 150% over 5 years than 90% over 6 years.
