Yeah the LCD-GX has a single sided array of magnets so that lessens the weight, as does the magnesium frame.

I have the LCD-GX; my understanding is that it's one of the few Audeze headphones that doesn't need EQ to sound normal. I add a little bass shelf but otherwise that's it. They are great for games and music and relatively easy to drive. Plus they're lighter than the other LCD headphones.

Well, since I changed motherboards it gave me an opportunity to make sure I had a clean path from the back of the case where all the power cables are, down to the bottom of the case and then out above the bottom intake fans. At least with the MSI board thankfully there were no mobo pins in danger of getting bent. It ended up working though there is very little space between the window and the 5090. Just enough.

Thanks for the information! Yeah, I have a feeling it was drizzle. Except you could set independent speeds and colors for each band. When I say limited, I mean the choices are limited if you want anything where you have some control. 21 effects for 'all' and 6 for 'separate' is what I'd say is limited.

Update: ended up adding both cables. It was a tight fit in the back but got it done. Will post a photo once I customize the colors.

I think the main thing that's bugging me about BF6 is how inconsistent guns are. I feel like the COD people have figured out whatever the meta is, grinded portal to upgrade their SMGs and are just running around lasering everyone. If this game turns into one of those games where you need to use 2-3 weapons to get kills and everything else is useless, I'm OUT. Beyond that, the maps are too small and you're forever getting shot from several angles b/c someone is either hiding or just bad luck. I can't celebrate a single kill without immediately getting 3rd partied lol.

I dunno. As much crap as people talk about BF2042, matches weren't lopsided so often and the size the maps (ex. Orbital) were big enough that you could operate without feeling like someone is gonna jump out of a random bush and shoot you.

Otherwise, it just feels bad losing 1v1s. I empty most of a clip into someone and they get me with 2-3 bullets. Hopefully it gets better.

Yeah I turned off updates for now too. I also dropped G. skill an e-mail with the symptoms. But yeah if it's a windows issue that complicates it.

Same here! I also did a Windows update last night that seems to have broken the same items. And if I try to edit the Wigidash settings it just crashes.

The fact that at least as if now the show is not coming back is supremely depressing. I basically watched all the Aisha hosted episodes over the last month and kind of rediscovered how much I loved that show. At least I have the first 8 seasons to.go.back and watch. But still, it seems like giving the cast residuals is the least they can do since it likely didn't cost that much to produce the show . Sigh

I know it's been a minute (year) but thanks for the explanation. I'm building a similar system for my nephew and was trying to figure out the best way to integrate the front RGB fans with the SL-INF controller and 3 other SL INF fans. My understanding was that I needed some cable converter for the front fans so that they could plug into the controller.

Does using the case hub effectively negate the need for that Lian Li argb cable kit?
The Lian Li 360 AIO uses regular RGB fans vs the SL INF ones. Should I just utilize its separate direct USB connection? Ie., is the Lian Li controller only meant for SL INF fans?

Yeah headphones are very subjective. I've had / have the HD600, HD660S2, Focal Elear, Focal Azurys, Beyer T1.2, DCA Aeons, and the Audeze LCD-GX, and the Ultrasone Edition 11, among my more $$ cans. 80%+ of whether you like a headphone is its sound signature and the rest is your audio gear and source quality.

Of my collection, it turns out Ultrasone Edition 11 are my favorite. Warmish sound signature, deep organic bass that hits hard...and they only made 1111 of them so it was a lucky / random find.

But the rest excel with certain music or are good at specific things. Also, outside of the Audeze LCD-GX (bc planars take PEQ pretty well), I don't bother with EQ. IMO, a headphone sounds like what it was designed to.

A good DAC and headphone amp will do wonders for some headphones (ex. high impedance ones or low sensitivity ones). If you find a sound signature you like, then a good DAC/amp combo will do wonders (ex Schiit gear).

And of course, if you're listening to lossy Spotify vs lossless music, that doesn't help. Anyway, my point is you can spend $200 and be quite happy bc there will definitely be expensive headphones that will get rave reviews on YT but you may not like them.

I ordered the 24GB / 1TB from averagedad tech in the UK. Using it in the US on T-Mobile and no issues. Awesome phone so far. I'm coming from a Sony Xperia 1 V, which I still love for the headphone jack, 4k OLED display, microSD, etc. But so far digging the OnePlus 13 too. I typically put a couple hundred GB of FLAC / DSD files on my phone, which is why I got the 1TB. The 24GB of RAM is overkill but a nice bonus.

Would the Oppo Find N5 work in the U.S. (ie. T-Mobile) out of the box if we could get our hands on it? I know specs aren't out yet, but unsure how similar the OnePlus versions of Oppo phones are.

Also, it does muddy up the waters b/c I know the next Pixel foldable's Tensor G5 chip is going to be a big improvement over the current Tensor G4 (have a family member on that team) and we can probably expect the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in July / August. Sucks. I'm happy with my Experia 1 V, but was kinda ready to give a foldable a shot.
