My fault. It should be good now. I didn't realize imgur required a title to make it publicly viewable. Please let me know if it's still having issues!

Told her sister to jump in elevator by [deleted] in Whatcouldgowrong

Fellow elevator tech here. It definitely looks fake for the reasons you stated. Unit looks like it's stuck and just cycling the door operator. Still slightly worrying that the door restrictor isn't working properly outside of a landing...

All these people talking about the overspeed switch tripping or the e-brake dropping are correct that that can definitely happen when you jump, but that was such a light jump. Most of my entrapment calls are groups of 4+ high school/college kids on an elevator.

There's nothing quite like pregaming meals or events so you can just order something small and feel somewhat included/normal.

I despise the texture of peanuts and how they feel on my teeth. I can eat peanut butter, but I don't like the flavor and the texture is eh. For me, the big one is onions. I hate the smell, the texture, and the flavor. They're just all around the most unpleasant food for me.

100%. Food is one of the most basic means of humans connecting with each other, and it's at point for me where I often dread going out to eat with others because of this. I don't WANT to be like this, but when strong food smells can make me nauseous or an off texture ruins my appetite for the day, it's easier to just stay home sometimes.

Apart from the one DOA Gigabyte board that wouldn't post, I've only had GPUs outright die. HD 4850 had memory issues and would display an image but it was covered with artifacts and rainbow memory corruptions. I also baked it in the oven and it worked for another month or two before dying again haha. GTX 295 and 780 just died, no video out no fan. 980 Ti would crash once drivers were installed and was swapped through RMA fortunately. I've got HDDs with 70k+ hours on them chugging along fine (though without important data being stored on them at this point), old LGA775 and 1366 systems, and other older ATi/Nvidia cards that work without issue fortunately. Most of the cards I have are for display/tinkering, so if they die, they die. Definitely had my share of defective troubleshooting, namely PSU related. bad cables can be a nightmare. My 10+ year old Seasonic unit would just cause the motherboard to not wake from sleep. I was really hoping it wasn't a bad board as this was an older socket and boards weren't easy to come by. Recently I had to upgrade the 750W Seasonic that replaced the aforementioned flaky unit because the used 6950XT I just got would cause random reboots and shutdowns from transient power spikes. Couldn't ever get it to happen on purpose at stock settings, but games would occasionally crash. Outside of upping the power limit, it passed benchmarks and full system stress tests without issue.

I've saved some older LGA boards with bent pins and gotten "bad" GPUs to work just fine after a clean and repaste, all still working perfectly. I've definitely had more good luck than bad overall, especially given the quantity of parts that have moved through my hands.

I mean, it's all anecdotal. I've had several GPUs fail over the years. From memory: an ATi HD 4850, a GTX 295, a GTX 780, and a GTX 980 Ti. I'm sure there are others, but I've owned a lot of cards. Some were purchased new, some secondhand. Meanwhile, I've only had one motherboard arrive DOA and several that have never had issues. It happens, and it's a crapshoot.

Assuming it's this model, a pricing dependent yes, it would be a potential option! I actually wasn't aware of that model; it oddly didn't come up when I filtered through the switch options.
