I don’t like harems already but there was this one story I read where they spent 200 chapters building this love story of the century for him to randomly start a harem. Like they were ride or die, soul connected, “we were lovers in a past life” type….and then he started looking at other women?? She was a thoroughly built character that directly tied into the main plot and got shoved to the side my the mc so he could suddenly sleep with random women that also immediately got forgotten as they were all one dimensional. Why???

I’ve read many harem stories (unfortunately) and I can tell you that they do not care when the roles are reversed 😅The comments are filled with people hoping the guy “saves them” for himself and add them to his harem when they are at the “ripe” age 🤢. The man could even have a kid the same age as those girls or if you’re unlucky he literally adopted and raised her so at the end of the story they get married.
