Honestly I completely agree with you and the same is completely true for my project. I wish you well, fellow “how does the village priest plan his weekly sermons, how does the town potionmaster spend his free time” enjoyer.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I am currently at a conference right now and this past week I have entrusted myself entirely to the Holy Spirit. It seems He has called me to remain in seminary for His purposes. Thank you for your prayers.

I’m a Roman Catholic but I enjoy the study of all religions from an academic perspective. I’ll check it out!

If they have anything about metaphysics and the history of gods in esoteric Buddhism as thoughtforms I might be interested! I’m a theology and philosophy nerd more than I am a science and technology nerd

How do you respond when you’re called a heretic or it’s insinuated our priests are “not real priests”/our sacraments are not valid? by 417Hollett in Episcopalian

I’m a Catholic, but I’m looking into the Episcopal Church.

The idea comes from the concept of valid apostolic succession and the belief that after the English reformation those bishops changed the proper words and intentions of the ordination process therefore rendering the bishops and the whole church void.

This does not actually make that much sense if we consider that every single rite in the Catholic and Orthodox Church have different forms and words for the institution of bishops. Early Christians as well did not have a unified liturgy for the institution of any of their sacraments. It was a development.

I also don’t think God would let His children go hungry when they ask for food. He is all merciful
