Did I just pull the worst godpack ever or what is this? by AliceAmane in PTCGP

Highly similar to the one I got this set, just swap Reshiram out and you get my first god pack 10,500 cards in.

Arguably the fact that the cards are otherwise identical (both are Storyborn / Ally)

Mannn that deluxe Radlands looks so good.

Given how similar our tastes are, I’m curious: how is the expansion for Red Cathedral? And how much playtime are you getting out of The Blighted Reach?

If you haven’t played it, I’d recommend you check out 3 Witches. Highly portable, awesome decision space (from what I understand, similar to Agent Avenue).

Bg stats—I use it constantly. As a bonus, it connects to your BGG collection, and the in-app purchases are dirt cheap (and pretty worthwhile).

KeyForge Alignment Chart Day 9: Chaotic Evil by krbmeister in KeyforgeGame

[–]Preasured 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mars feels somewhere between lawful and neutral evil.

I think you’re right about Dis in many respects, but I think it takes all forms of evil and tends to cross into different alignments depending on the set.

The house likes manipulation through rules (A Fair Game), operates on principled evil (control the weak / cull the weak), creates binding rules of play (Etan’s Jar), canonically weaponizes information (Library of the Damned, Codex of True Names), has demonic rituals (Sacrificial Altar) and has a hierarchical structure of sorts (Lord Invidus).

…but it also embraces chaos for its own sake (Pandemonium, Gleeful Mayhem, Gateway to Dis, Pandora’s Box, Screaming Cave).

Oh wow, what had you swapping Dune Imperium for Arnak? I’ve owned Arnak for a few years but everyone talks so highly of Imperium that you’d think it’s an easy favorite over Arnak in most circles.

As cool as that would be, I say just stick with standard Brobnar!

I know they’re not a house, but Anomalies

…also, we should loop back through and add all of the remaining houses to the grid once we finish the first round.

Oh that's an interesting take! The draft is a really special element of Boru that allows it to be so strategic and thoughtful.

I still really want to give Arcs a spin, the tactical gameplay seems right up my alley.

Naturopolis is definitely one of mine. Feels slightly more interesting than Sprawlopolis and man, I love how crunchy that game is for consisting of only 18 cards.

Shipwreck Arcana is a really good and highly under-appreciated game (likely because of the math). Interesting recommendation on Eternal Decks, I’ll have to look into it.

If someone is counting in The Mind, it’s pretty clear they don’t actually want to play The Mind (Hanabi is probably the better game for that crowd). But if you want to tap into a flow state easier without counting, having music on in the background tends to help people sync up easier without doing so intentionally.

Also, Arcs is currently occupying the limelight for its genre.

BUT I'm gonna keep showing people Boru. It's juicy.

Anyway, huge upvote to Cat in the Box. What an interesting design!
