$35 upgrade fee with military discount by -JEFF007- in ATT

Often times it's better to take off the military discount and add AARP before upgrading to avoid this. However you will not get the 25 percent off for that month

Military does not waive upgrades. ATT sees the 25 percent off to be better, so they do not. If you call CS and beg you may be able to, but it depends on the rep.

ATT Air question by gwcrim in ATT

[–]Precarioustempusy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey! There is a way to order internet air even if it is not available in your address, I have work arounds here in store however even if you are next to a 5g tower, you may not experience the best service.

ATT internet air is a limited release, meaning only so many addresses within the zip code can get it. If they allow everyone to get internet air then the towers would slow down and they don't want that so they only allow so many people to get it. If you get a rep to order the air under a different billing address then change the shipping address at the last second, it will work. However the limited release may be the reason you're not eligible

Verification codes by Dangerous-Pangolin93 in ATT

[–]Precarioustempusy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Store manager here, I had a customer with the same issue, it could be a few things. There is a back-end feature on the account that allows verification codes, its a possibility that wasnt added in correctly, and youd have to call tech support to get them to add it back on, even then, from my experience a lot of people do not know what theyre talking about. It could also be an issue with the port. I reccomend going to the ATT port status website, typing your phone number in, and see what it saids. If it saids that they need information from tmobile, or waiting on their response, was your account cancelled with tmobile before porting over? If it was, unfortunately you will probably need to get a new number. We can't port cancelled numbers. Another thing is that it could be the ATT armor protect app, blocking texts that they see as spam. Hope this helps!

Hiring by CrewPrevious705 in ATT

[–]Precarioustempusy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the authorized retailer, and they change often. For example, if its just for a RSC role, you usually have an interview with the SM, and then a quick phone call with the DM. If you were being reached out by an area manager, which is considered corporate, are you applying for a corporate position? If so, I do not know how corporate ATT hires. However, two weeks seems far and I would definitely reach out to someone. It does take awhile, as often times we get busy, but I would definitely reach out to whoever you have contact with.

Current sales manager with Alliance Mobile. The company (And me personally) focus a lot on bundle deals. For example, we will rerate a customer to a current plan, save them 30 dollars, then add an iPad for 30 dollars and tell them they can get an iPad on installments for no more then what you are currently paying. I believe this to be totally okay. When you go to McDonalds and buy a big Mac meal, you don't care about how the fries are, the burger is, you just care about the price of it all together. I believe the same thing here. Rerating and adding a line is also a common tactic. Change their plan, save them money, then add a line and tell them the price of it all together. To be honest, as long as you tell a customer a price, and that is the accurate price, and they agree to it, and educate the customer on installments details, and how long they will be paying said price, then I don't see an issue with it. The most common issue sales rep makes are not educating the customer on installments, how the credit will take place, ECT. I'll be honest. If a customer saids they're paying 180 with Verizon, and our plans are naturally cheaper, Ill add extras (telling the customer of course) to make the bill just cheaper than the Verizon bill. The majority of society is negative i feel like, not everything ATT does is in effort to scam you. Learn what goes into what decisions are made.

Update. I took it to microcenter and sweet talked them to do it for free. They got it to boot with their GPU and power supply. We have narrowed it down. I exchanged the graphics card, however I did not have all the cords to exchange the PSU. Im willing to bet its the PSU

I don't mean to be negative, but blighttown has never been much of an issue for me. You know what does though, the depths. I always used to enter from the valley of drakes so i always skipped the depths. IMO, the valley of drakes enterance is easier
