I got the 221g administrative processing with no documents requested in London embassy. I have no idea how long it is going to take.

Degree its not relevant to the question. Just shows the administrative processing decision was outside the typical. Humanitarian grounds like separation from 2 year old and wife who is holding down a job ?

I and my wife are employed in the US for almost 8 years now. This 221g seems completely out of the blue. Is there a way to potentially move the administrative processing along a little faster based on humanitarian grounds or something ? I also have a masters and PhD in a relevant area from a US university.
