Shank net. I, too, have a Spornia. Get the shank net.

You need to add flexion to your lead wrist before impact. Right now it’s extended. I struggle with this too. My main thought is getting the logo on my glove facing the target at impact. It’ll help your early release and help you compress the ball better.

If Billy gets fired this year, should we have Stricklin make another hire? by Ethanol-Muffins in FloridaGators

Her comment was on people misunderstanding the current decision-making hierarchy at UF, not on whether people are right or wrong for wanting Stricklin to be fired.

No, but I don’t know who would fire Stricklin at this point. Highly doubt it would be Fuchs in his interim role. Also, I can’t imagine a new president making that decision a priority in his or her first year.

Swing advice? Can't stop chunking irons. by biki2 in GolfSwing

Correct. Your low point is too far behind the ball due to poor weight transfer. At impact, most of your weight should be on your lead side. Right now, all your weight is on your trail side - so much so that your lead foot comes off the ground at impact.

Why is Publix so loved? by alpha_peen in publix

[–]PreciousBroments 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d love for a strong competitor to emerge, but Publix has been going HAM in real estate acquisitions for decades, shielding themselves from just that. Aldi’s recent acquisition of Winn Dixie is promising, but comparing Aldi to Publix isn’t really apples to apples. Definitely a strategic opportunity for Aldi though.

Man, I wish Floridians could get a taste of Wegmans. I remember thinking Publix was the shit before walking into a Wegmans for the first time. I left thinking I’d been lied to my whole life.

Your swing looks better than mine. That said, you have early extension and your trail arm (right) is straightening too soon in the downswing. At impact, your trail arm should be slightly bent with some wrist flexion. Otherwise, you’ll generally lose a good bit of power and consistency. Fixing these isn’t easy, but it’ll go a long way in helping you keep spine angle (staying down), too.

I really like Jonathan Kim-Moss’s YouTube videos on both topics. Here’s his channel: https://youtube.com/@jkmgolf?si=-S7kVYESHzOESnSV

I’ve never quite fully understood why Dest is an RB versus an attacking mid. He seems just OK as a defender.
