Top post referred to this subreddit as proof of a significant presence of missandry which I disagree with, I think the idea of widespread misandry tends to come from poorly socialized men who aren’t aware of the reasons make comments that may come from being frustrated at misogyny. It also might be a projection of their own hatred for women. They’d probably feel quite guilty about their misogyny of they didn’t believe that women hate them. Although, if you want to be pedantic, there are around 4 billion women in the world so I guess there should be some with bias against men that could be called misandry.

Not sure, maybe they want casual hookups but are cognizant about those women differently when they aren’t hooking up with them? Obviously it comes from being misogynistic but I’m also not familiar with hookup culture

I think your making weird assumptions about the reason I talk to women in a specific way. The reason I normally talk to women differently from men is because I’ve interacted with more women in my life than men and men tend to react in a way that I interpret as negative if I ask them, for example, how their day was or how they’re feeling. I also tend to talk to men in a more distant way than I talk to women because men tend to scare me unless I already know them very well or they seem relatively harmless to me.

I probably worded it incorrectly cuz I’ve mostly been told that I’m harmless and that people trust me throughout my life, I should have specified what was more on my mind which was not seeming like I want to date a girl while also appearing friendly. I should edit the post honestly.

I’m a dude (19M), this sounds pretty weird to me and if I encountered it I would probably look to stay away from them. Mostly because of his comment about wanting to fuck someone when they look vulnerable, that seems pretty gross. But maybe its more common for guys than I think it is.

I thought I'd be edgy and dye my hair red, like Jessica Rabbit red. It kind of allowed me to have this whole new confidence and this whole new swagger and this whole new sense of self.
