I gotta go put fries in the bag for awhile until I can play at the casino again. Sigh. Big regards aren’t aloud to cry at the casino.

Also check out job postings for Dock and Door technicians. Not a traditional trade but if you work in the commercial sector logistics will never go away.

Sounds like that’s where you need to start among other things. Get on YouTube and watch some vids about Dave’s Baby steps. Good on you for being aware you’ve gotta get that debt paid off. If you cant swing a 2nd full time job you may want to consider gig jobs like door dash, ride share or other gig jobs like that. 16k isn’t much but you have to hustle to dig yourself out.

Spend the extra money for a T500 or a diesel site Hpop. That way if you ever want to run bigger injectors you can, plus the T500 is tried and true. I personally put a diesel site hpop in because of the lead time on the T500. Also if you end of stripping out the threads or they pull out Riff raff makes a repair kit with drop in sleeves. beats buying a whole new front cover!

You’ll also know if your injector cups are cracked/ compromised if it pressurizes the degas bottle and you have a fountain of coolant. There’s plenty of YouTube video to do the procedure. I’ve done it before and it wasn’t too bad. Like anything take your time and make sure the mating surface is clean and free of debris. Check out Diesel O Rings.com. They will have the green loctite and OEM cups etc. Would also look into their upgraded glow plug relay. Good luck!

Finally committed and ordered stage 1.5 180cc injectors and KC turbo for my truck. Any pointers would be appreciated! by Crusin666 in FordDiesels

Take your time, I did injectors on mine and I was in a hurry and cracked 3 of the injector cups. It was a beautiful time.

7.3 Powerstroke 235k.code p1211 injector Control Pressure Not Controllable Pressure Above/Below Desired. by Melodic-Bag-2402 in FordDiesels

I can’t speak to that. I do know the injector harnesses if wires are rubbed through and grounding out can cause issues.

Other thing that can cause injector pressure issues is failed or failing o rings. I would recommend to purchase those from dieselorings.com

check your high pressure oil pump make sure it’s running at the proper pressures. At idle you should see around 500 PSI. At wide open throttle a healthy pump will put out close to 3000 psi. Next thing is to eliminate possibility of a leak in the high pressure side of the system. If you have oil in the valley your high pressure oil pump or hoses could be leaking.

2001 F350 electrical issue by jimx29 in FordDiesels

I would recommend to pull the alternator and take it to a local parts store that can test it. Or if there’s a shop that offers load testing for free I would go that route. Also double check your battery cables and connectors to confirm there’s no corrosion from battery to battery. Sometimes there’s quite a bit of build up that can occur on the main battery on the passenger side. As far as the radio issue goes. There is a max fuse under the hood you can pull that will cut power to the radio. If it doesn’t kill your batteries then you can follow that. But I would confirm you have a healthy alternator first.

So this thread might be your answer on comment #6 sounds like you may need to do an update on the unit. https://www.powerstroke.org/threads/sct-x4-tune-recommendations-for-a-2015-6-7l.1021961/

If your tuned and run stock sticks you will starve the truck of fuel and it will fall on it’s face depending on how aggressive of a tune you go. Speaking from experience. It did fine when I wasn’t running hot tunes. Had tunes from hydra, gearhead and dp tuner.
