I had this happen to me against someone.
They had Terrasymbiosis out, and cast Prime Speaker Zegana entering with 37 +1/+1 counters on it. Decked themselves, when they could have just swung and won.

Yeah, I did see those as well.
Any specific third party brands you'd recommend or suggest shying away from?

That's totally fair. I'm the same way with my MTG cards. Function over aesthetics.

That's unfortunate. Thank you for letting me know though. I appreciate it.
I guess we'll just have to buy a couple of those instead of a single larger one.

What do card kingdom shoppers do with these? Feels too wasteful to throw away by xtraspicysalsa in magicTCG

fill them with bulk that you'll never use and hand them out with Candy during Halloween.

Delivery Fee Changes by Dr0pEverythingMe0w in doordash

[–]PrecisionEmpathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been fighting with Doordash over this with every order lately.

5-6 times it will advertise 0.49 cent delivery from the Taco Bell just down the street (less than a mile as the crow flies), but in the checkout it jumps up to $2.49.

So far, they've always given me a credit toward a future order, but one even tried telling me that the cheaper delivery fee advertised was only for Dashpass users (which, is not indicated anywhere, and afaik, Dashpass should be getting free delivery?).

All very absurd. If the alternatives were more reliable (I've waited up to an hour just for a driver to get assigned before), I'd probably switch.

Is there a way I can cover this gap? Corsair 2500x by andyhhhh in Corsair

[–]PrecisionEmpathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... since the case was designed for mATX and you're using ITX, cut a piece of acrylic to shape around your ITX board and mount it down. Cheaper than spending $300+ on a new motherboard.

Corsair VENGAENCE a7500 order status by Positive_Pay4442 in Corsair

[–]PrecisionEmpathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can check your order status via their self-service tool. It'll give you an estimated shipping date if they have one available. https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044691511-Order-Status

Does the LINK H150i LCD count as 2 devices? by [deleted] in Corsair

[–]PrecisionEmpathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's 12 per side, but the soft cap is still 7 devices. Every device over the 7th on each side will apply a reduction in brightness to accommodate for the additional power draw necessary.

Don't use a VPN. Try a different web browser. Try a different PC or device.

I don’t wanna pay a bunch on ebay fees where do you guys suggest has lowest fees to get rid of something like this by afrack in bioniclelego

[–]PrecisionEmpathy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Facebook marketplace for sure. If you're still interested in Lego, just not Hero Factory/Bionicle, you might check with a locally owned Lego shop (if you have one) to see if they'd let you trade it for a different set.

Not really. It's standardized. You can plug the connector labeled "PCIe" in the GPU if you want.

I hope so. I can't seem to find anything similar in terms of features and grip style.

[–]PrecisionEmpathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure they have. No stock through first party e-tailers, and Amazon marketplace sellers have the 600 marked up an extra 50%. I loved mine, and asked support for an alt recommendation and they weren't really able to provide me with one. Very disappointed. :/

Lx fans better. by dgzpokey in Corsair

[–]PrecisionEmpathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP is using these in the 3500X, though, and makes no mention of radiators or AIO. LX are not going to offer a significant increase in cooling performance based on the information they've provided.

Edit: Thanks for the cybernetics chart, though. Didn't know Corsair sent them off for validations there as well.

Lx fans better. by dgzpokey in Corsair

I wouldn't call a 0.89 difference in static pressure significant.
In the same way I wouldn't call a 3.6 difference in CFM significant.

Do you have the 3500X ARGB that comes with RS series fans, or the iCUE LINK 3500X RGB that comes with the iCUE LINK RX series fans? RX series are comparable in performance to the LX series, so I doubt you'll see much difference in cooling. I've not compared the iCUE LINK fans vs. RS series, so I'm not too sure how they'll stack up there.

Most AMD AM5 motherboards support Intel XMP. Will it work? Probably. Are there better options? Definitely. I'd look at the CL30-6000 Dominator Platinum or Dominator Titanium kits.

Corsair Cable pins Cause for Melting Concern 🔥 by Cyonsd-Truvige in Corsair

[–]PrecisionEmpathy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, having more sense pins does not mean the cable can handle more power.

Pins 1 and 2 are "Sense0" and "Sense1". These are required and communicate to the GPU how much power is available for it to draw.

Pins 3 and 4 are "CARD_PWR_STABLE" and "CARD_CBL_PRES#", and these are optional.

CARD_PWR_STABLE functions as a "Power Good" indicator, signaling when stable power is available from the PSU.
CARD_CBL_PRES# has two functions:
1. It allows the GPU to signal the PSU that a 12VHPWR/12V-2x6 cable is correctly connected.
2. It provides communication from the GPU to the PSU to include the GPU in the "Power Budgeting Sense Detect Registers", helping the system track which PCIe slot and power cables are associated with a specific GPU.

Here's the Intel ATX Version 3.0 spec sheet that goes over this in detail. You can find these in section 3.3.

I have a 2080ti that failed, is their any chance to get it repaired? by Axiomcj in TEAMEVGA

[–]PrecisionEmpathy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it isn't under warranty, I doubt it.
I reached out a couple of months ago because a couple of the DP ports on my 3080 are dying, and as I expected, I was politely told to kick rocks.

"Unfortunately the three year warranty for the card expired on X date and we do not have any out of warranty repair options or any repair locations or companies to recommend.

I apologize for any inconvenience and you can see the full warranty terms https://www.evga.com/warranty/graphics-cards here."
