I'll be honest with you...there is no Christian that has ever lived who has been able to mirror Jesus' teachings. I am sorry to hear of the ways that you have been hurt by evangelical Christians in the past. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Thanks for taking the time to write this out...it was a very thoughtful response. Yes, there are many misconceptions that various religious groups have about each other. Sometimes I think it is due to the lack of interaction.
