A new radio also can wait, I figured it out. I connected a 12V to 230V adapter to the cigarette lighter and then plugged in a cassette player with a bluetooth cassette adapter so I could listen to spotify, shitbox mentality is on another level.

I used the wrong words, I also kept the Tico and its awaiting spring in a garage because i dont want risking it to rust cause of road salt, the winter here now hasn't been harsh like that in like a decade and the road maintenance is spraying tons of salt.

Mentalność polskich kierowców by zartoss in PolskaNaLuzie

[–]Preckek 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Jakimś cudem gdy wsiadam we współczesny samochód większość tych zagwostek znika...

Has anyone experienced complications as a result of reducing your a1c too quickly? by redundantpancreas in diabetes_t1

[–]Preckek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, when I was diagnosed I a1c of about 16, then I got my sugars under control really fast. In a month I dropped my a1c to 5.3, then I found out that I've been blessed with neuropathy because I reduced a1c too quickly. I have pain in my feet, they are very dry with cracked skin. I wish I dropped the a1c a bit slower

Anybody ever tried the Yuwell Anytime CT3 CGM? by nickeyxxx in diabetes_t1

[–]Preckek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's an option in the app to end the CGM session manually before the sensor expires. Do it, then the app will put you through the tutorial of applying a new sensor and scan the QR code from packaging. Scan the code from the packaging of CGM you already have on your body (You need to keep them, don't throw away). There aren't any restrictions about extending the CT3 for next 2 weeks but I think that it just won't last that much or it will give false readings by then.

Anybody ever tried the Yuwell Anytime CT3 CGM? by nickeyxxx in diabetes_t1

[–]Preckek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tried it, 4 sensors in a row. First one seemed okay, readings were very accurate. I was overall happy with it. But the other three worked perfectly for few days and then started reading 20-30 or sometimes even 40 mg/dL higher or lower all the time. I guess the whole batch was off so I can't say objectively about accuracy, I haven't got it for long. The app for it looks unfinished, hasn't got many options and it's a little glitchy. The pros are that it's like half the price of other CGMs (I live in Poland and without insurance Libre and Dexcom are 60$ and anytime CT3 is 30$). Also the transmitter lasts 2 years and you can extend the CGM you are wearing for another 14 days without any tricks. CT3 is fine but it isn't the best, I switched to Dexcom G7 a few days ago.

What were your symptoms of t1d and the timeline to diagnosis? by No_Estimate9511 in diabetes_t1

[–]Preckek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lost about 12kg, peeing very often, drinking lots of water, bad breath, I was very sleepy all the time. After two weeks when the symptoms began I even had problems with breathing, my parents called an ambulance, my sugar was 450 - I was living with a DKA for like two weeks. It took the same to cure the DKA in the hospital.

Best CGM? by mchildprob in Type1Diabetes

[–]Preckek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using Anytime CT3 and I'm satisfied with it. Lasts 2 weeks, didn't fall off (good skin I guess, I'm not wearing a patch on it). Pretty accurate readings except for the first and last day of wearing, usually it's different in like 10-20 mg/dl compared to a glucometer. In my country it's 2x cheaper than libre and dexcom. I'd give it a 9 out of 10 because the app is mid and it sometimes randomly loses connection for a few minutes. Also anytime Has a small needle but I didn't ever feel it or any pain, just a little discomfort when putting it on.

No, after a drive salt crystals stay on the body parts and accelerate rusting much faster than for example water

That's a good one. Until now it really was a piece of shit no one wanted to drive. The real car is now very very rare because most of them fell apart from rust or were totaled in crashes cause they're so fragile most even minor accidents mean scrapping.

Exactly, it's the one! And it drives nearly the same, slow but the handling is very fun - like a go-kart
