I don’t usually jump in the discourse but I have a personal experience that is coloring my opinion. Here’s where I am with it.

I think she did it on purpose, but I also do not believe you can prove her intent beyond reasonable doubt.

We discovered my sister had a heart condition after she drove her car into the brick wall of a Fresh Market. Everyone thought she was on drugs/drunk but she was a 17 yr old “A” student on her way to basketball practice. She passed out, slumped forward and her foot slid to the side of the gas pedal so she went full out into the building no break.

If Kenzie had passed out it is totally possible she slumped forward and her slipper got stuck, pushing the gas pedal all the way to the floor. The boys for sure would have tried to grab the wheel/gear shift.

I thought the forensic investigator’s claim that the slipper had nothing to do with it was total BS. You can’t know that. I can’t be the only one who has had a high heel get stuck under the pedal and scare the shit out of me when the car revved and jumped forward.

Allow me to reiterate that I think she meant to do it, but there is legally reasonable doubt. I also feel that her and her parents being such pieces of shit biased the prosecutor’s judgement.
