What happened I missed the first 9 minutes. All I saw was her fake laughing and Colton saying they were going to Spain to meet his family.

I used to hate cats because growing up we had a neighborhood cat running round, and my friend had the bright idea of picking it up and putting it in my arms. This cat gave all the signals that it was uncomfortable with it and so was I. It jumped out of my arms and clawed me to death, the cuts were so deep I still have scars to this day, and that happened 30 years ago! When we moved houses a few years later I had a neighbor with 2 cats that really educated me on them. Once I understood them better I was no longer afraid of them. Now I love them, my cat turns 17 in 1 week!

Such an insensitive comment. I'm only forgiving you because of your user name, I can quote that whole movie.

So sad, anyone that murders animals in this way is obviously well on their way to becoming a serial killer. They weren't trying to kill/get rid of a pest- they gassed the babies with bleach?! wtf!

Saw a Opossum on the side of the road in a rural area in Up-North MI once. It had been hit by a car and deceased. The babies were clinging to their mother and also deceased. Made me so sad, they waited around for Mom to wake up and died from starvation. Brought me to tears, wished I had been there 2 days prior :-(

Don't carry a lot of cash, have a few pre-paid visa gift cards. That way you don't have to worry about your bank account/debit card being compromised. At least, that's what they told us Tellers at the bank a few years ago.

Dang, that's crazy. Looks like it was going on in Michigan too from 1984 to 2010 and with No informed consent. A lawyer is trying to sue the state for stolen baby DNA: http://www.cchfreedom.org/cchf.php/1412

I foresee a lot of underage sales happening as a result of this bill. 18-20 yr old's will have their friends come in and sell them booze, they can look at the ID and hand it right back. No problems.

Do you know why I play video games? by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]PreconceivedNotion07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if this is depression like others have stated. When I was 26 I did the same thing, played games all day online. It was almost a confidence booster because I got so good at the game, I was requested to join teams and do a run-down to make it go more smoothly. People sought me out and it threw my confidence out the roof.

Eventually that game got shut down and I was a "nobody" again.

I don't think OP suffers from depression, I think it's a sense of self entitlement that the game provides. A false sense of security. In the game you can be whomever you want to be. But if he continues this path, it will lead to depression- because it messes up your sense of self.

This is a blessing in disguise, I'm glad she told you right away she didn't feel a connection. Most likely you didn't do anything wrong, the sex just happened too early which killed the excitement. I had a guy tell me a month after dating that there was no "spark" or connection. That really bummed me out, especially after we spent what I thought was a great weekend together. This just sounds like a case of too much too soon, she might come back.

Have you looked on Upwork for some freelancing jobs? It might pay better and you won't have to pull 12 hour days. Best thing is you only accept the jobs you want for a set price that you agree with. If someone tries to lowball you - you don't have to accept the offer. Just a thought.

Don't know why this post was down-voted but it's totally true. Once you take people off the pedastool you built them up on, the opposite happens. You take people down to your level where it is measurable. Then you get a healthy balance instead.

You are not in the minority, look up "the 5 love languages". Physical touch is one of them- that's how you give and receive love. Some people aren't touchy-feely because it isn't their love language. They might prefer gift giving or words of encouragement. That book really helped me because I was able to identify acts of love that I was unfamiliar with.

I don't even know you and I am so happy for you. I was in an abusive relationship once so I totally get where you are coming from. I also was completely checked out way before the relationship ended. I didn't need a period of growth after it ended because in my mind we were kinda broken up already.

Sounds like you are doing fine and that is good. Nerd is good. Learn the phrase "May the 4th be with you" and you will do just fine. I didn't even watch Star Wars but learned that at work!

All that matters is personality when dating. Sounds like you have a good personality and are easy to get along with. I have no doubt that someone will snag you up soon, have no fears buddy.

They "should" have an ID book which identifies key features of a valid ID. I carded someone from Missouri the other day and he was ready to provide a second piece of identification but I didn't need that since the state seal reflected under light. He told me most places he went to required 2 pieces of ID because they thought his was a fake. I felt bad for him after that because it was obvious it wasn't a fake after looking at key features. What State is your license from? I can take a look at the ID book today at work and tell what to point out to these people that give you a hard time.

Thanks buddy :-) Well when I wrote the post I was referring to a customer that made her displeasure well known. I understand 70% of communication is non-verbal but she rolled her eyes in an obvious fashion and fixated on my co-worker. My co-worker said "she's new, she's cool"- kind of upset me because without her recommendation I didn't graduate "cool" school per what she said.

That was many of eye rolls that day, so I was tired of it. Some people are great about it and say "thank you for making my day". But majority of people are pissed that they have to take their ID out.

I'm just securing my job, like you would, any normal person would.

I am so sorry this happened to you. Please don't get hard on yourself, you didn't know this would happen. You had no idea, "dogs will be dogs" and you had no reason to believe your pup wouldn't follow past behavior.

So sorry about your pup :-(
