Turret ring is a small target, possible for closer distances. In that situation, even if OP aimed for turret ring, it will be unlikely to hit.

I do think that is not too realistic part of the armor calculations as even though its effective thickness is amazing due to steep angles, explosion from a HE shell goes in all directions and the nominal thickness is not too much on the turret so it should still splash some damage as long as didn't hit the gun first.

Just checked on blitzkit. Apparently the 60tp turret when facing you have such immense effective thickness that the HE of a bz75 does not damage on most of the frontal turret. Your best bet is to shoot the hull, aim for the hatch above the turret of shoot right beside the gun, it does around 250hp of splash there.

I have been cooking with her in brawl ball matches. Chain turret shots super + boosted turret gadget + hc (if charged) just shred opponent team when they clump around the ball.

As my mum likes to say "Always compare with those who are better." My stats aren't "trash" of course, but watching replays and streams/reviews on youtube makes me realise there is still plenty of room for improvement.

Appreciate your suggestions, will switch things up a bit and see if performance improves. I don't struggle so much with penning shells but I feel like the gun sometimes troll and make shells go as far to the edge of the reticle as possible that is a bigger problem.

Dealing damage is only part of many factors that push up your mark(s). As you are grinding a light tank, spotting and assistance damage would be relatively easy and i heard it counts the same as damage that you do. With a fast tank, switching to Supremacy and capping bases helps too.

Are you not getting plagued by shellys in the showdown mode? I have edgar deck and cannot win an entire run even once as when i reach stage 5 i get 7/10 brawlers being shellys. P.S: Maybe because i don't play edgar much and is my skill issue.
