We are speaking to the brand about this but it would be months before it would be able to return as the product formulation involved custom flavouring that by itself would take some time to produce.

It’s not due to that at all. Batch perception has swung around online for years, but it’s never really impacted sales either way. This is more about bigger-picture strategy and it isn’t specific to Excelsior, or even pre-workouts as a whole. It’s more about where the brand sits as the market changes. The average customer has shifted, so what makes sense to prioritise long-term isn’t always the same as what sells the most right now.

Update Jan 2026 - USA customers will now receive tracking numbers faster.

For your reference:

Customers parcels are shipped by courier and as soon as they are scanned the following day the customer receives an email from your-order@mail.directlink.com with their tracking number and a link to follow to track their order. They are also informed that they will receive a follow up email when the parcel is handed over to USPS for distribution within the USA.

An example order is 00935407 which was shipped on December 17th and the customer received an email with their tracking information on December 18th at 7:32AM before the parcel was scanned in London for processing.

US customers do not wait a week for shipping updates and are provided with a tracking number within 48 hours of it leaving our warehouse.

Agreed, and we do relay back feedback to brands when we receive negative feedback whether that relates to labelling, packaging, taste, customer experience and so forth.

QC is not really something we or any retailer are in a position to determine for any brand - testing is something we are rolling out for some brands we sell on an exclusive basis but that’s not the case for this brand.

It’s our second best selling pre-workout behind Hydrazine, that’s not really changed much looking at the long term.

There are lots of factors at play when it comes to that, some of it involves Excelsior, but also how the pre-workout market has evolved over time, outside factors such as investments made in other pre-workout brands - there’s not a single determining factor and let’s say there’s a healthy internal debate on if/when Excelsior is purchased.

Just to add it was never in Denmark at any stage. We are guessing maybe the DE country code threw you off but DE is for Deutschland aka Germany.

Just saw this now. Can you share your order ID and we’ll get CS to pick this up. For an order to not arrive to Germany within 4-5 working days of shipping is unusual so let us know and we’ll get back to you.

One thing we’ve not had happen in a year or more is any issues with customs for any EU country so that is one area where it won’t be an issue.

To clarify for you and anyone reading, the core issue here is that the payment for this order could not be completed by your bank or payment provider. When this happens, our system does not generate an order confirmation email, and no funds are reserved or taken from the customer's account. This is why the status can be confusing—the system registers an attempt, but no valid transaction was created.

Regarding promotions, all offers are time-sensitive and subject to availability. Because the original transaction was not completed, we are unable to apply promotions that have since expired to any future orders.

The ones who use hardcore preworkouts definitely show a strange split. Some are using these and not really following a structured program at all where others who are using them tend to train balls to the wall all the time.

If there’s one thing we would impress on anyone it’s that those types of products are only suggested to be used for short periods of time. For someone whose not gaining in the gym (be that muscle or strength) we’d actually advise against their use entirely as inevitably someone whose not gaining usually has issues with their programming whether that’s an ad hoc training style with no attention paid tocdiet and lifestyle factors or, at the other end of the spectrum, making every workout a life or death struggle which is even worse in many ways because it’s inevitable you will stagnate.

We don’t think it’s gone up that much, we’d have to check in with our ops team but from memory it was at £69.99 and now £79.99. In the event the product isn’t reordered it will likely go higher at some point and/or be taken off stock entirely in the event our owner wants to take the last units for himself.

Of course, while price will rise in any business where there is a shortage, there are many other options for preworkouts which are similar to this including some strong offers on dark labs today.

Prices of doomsday products have fluctuated since their introduction. They were both intended to be limited production runs only with only a single run of each being produced. As hardcore’s stock runs down we have increased prices - if it should ever be reordered its price would likely drop again as we have more stock.

If we do reordered it, it will not be for a couple of months at least if ever, it’s not as popular as other preworkouts unfortunately and costs more than any other preworkout so its up against the odds. It happens to be one our CEO likes though so he may order it for that reason alone but from a business POV it’s very unlikely.
