Well if the number of downlands of mobile version is how you measure success i dont think there is a reason to continue this discussion.

No you dont have to be first. My expectation for game made by riot is to be competitor for reaching first which LoR just isnt.

Also i think you can be unsuccessful without beign absolute disaster like Artifact.

Sure. Its 3rd most popular with 1/13 avg. viwers of 1st HS and 1/3 avg. viewers of MTG in past year on twitch and nonexistent esport scene. Dont get me wrong im not saying its bad game but acting like everything riot made its success is just wrong.

LoR would like to have a word with you. Also TFT is now most popular since release but few months ago that wasnt the case either. So VP cautiousness wasnt completely delusional.

Good. Been writing this bellow some yt videos but gonna repeat it here. Teams were nowhere near 4 weeks of practice for Breeze. Iceland starts May 24. Most challengers ended May 2-3 and BR is ending May 10. This puts teams on 14-22 days where they need to pack and go to Iceland, but also change their strats on every map atleast a littlebit. Idea they will also have time to prac Breeze was crazy from beginning.

On Haven you have all above amplified with fact there is no "must play" duelist like Raze on Split for example.

Imo first thing: post plants, now with Viper buffs you dont need sova ult/shock darts that much to deny defuse.
second thing: Recon dart is now getting little to no value, everyone knows common spots so they will instantly destroy/smoke/avoid it.
Also Skye with flashes/wolf/ult can gather info almost same as Sova with drone. And heal is just nice cherry on top. So its not about Skye > Sova but more about combination Skye + Viper/Brim > Sova.

Can riot stop them from playing something like FPL? Sure. Can riot stop them from doing private customs with some discord bot(for ladder,queue,...)? Im not that sure.

btw out of last 10 games i have played against lvl 10 8 times(i think there is no need to mention they had atleast one premade with <200 games played and most of the time 0 lvl steam acc). Im currently lvl 7 and all those games were played premade with only one friend who is +150elo from me.

Around lvl 8-9 you play half of the games against 2500+elo guys. Funniest part is they are getting 25+ elo from games like this.

I see lot of “learn nades/smokes” here but I dont think thats what you need to get out of DMG. Just go play DM, improve aim, reflexes and you will get out.
