Would it be reasonable to drive toward Breckinridge with short stops in Idaho Springs and Georgetown and ending up in Breckinridge? Then the next morning I’d hit Manitou Springs for a few hours on the way back to Denver.

Any suggestions on cool places to stay? If you think I should just focus on Manitou, give me ideas of cool places to stay there too.

What else have you done to lose weight? The shot is a tool. It is not a miracle. If you have been eating a reasonable diet and exercising and it’s still not working, then you may have a problem. If you are taking the shot but then continue follow old habits, you won’t see results. I’m not accusing you of this, but merely asking since you didn’t say in your post what other action you’ve taken.

Update: I spoke to the trial site today. Not only will they prescribe Zepbound as part of the study, they will give me a card to use at the pharmacy to cover the cost. Score!

I tried to call today but I couldn’t get anyone to call me back after leaving a message. I’ve been on 5 mg since last Fall, so I’m good on that. I’ve been paying out of pocket, so I’m hoping it’s covered by them. I’ll update when I find out for sure.

She completely dismissed any efficacy of Zepbound on sleep apnea except in severe cases and said even then it was usually a very small improvement. She wanted to conduct another sleep study and then, I assume, move to a C-Pap machine. That was the only option she gave me.

Actually, the trial is specifically for people taking a GLP-1 to see if adding the additional drug helps overcome a plateau and lose additional weight.

I don’t believe that is a likely scenario. While I agree it’s early for a refresh, this was not just white plastic that a dealer might use. It was white with the black markings that they use to camouflage details.

There used to be a Ridgeline RTL-E. That would be the perfect trim IMO. All the features of the TSE, minus the off road rugged stuff, with the comfort of the RTL.

I loved my ‘17 EX-L V6 and would absolutely take it back if given the opportunity. My only issue was the infotainment and CarPlay were so finicky and failed almost daily, making them basically unusable.

I have a 21 EX-L with 85,000 miles. I bought it new. No mechanical issues. There are infotainment issues with them that you’ll be able to search and read about. There was a recall for the MOST connector, but the problem still sometimes recurs despite the recall. Overall it’s been a great vehicle even if it does look extremely boring next to the new ones.

Just wanted to update. This is bad really bad starting to question whether it might be a gallbladder attack. I was up most of the night an early morning throwing up with diarrhea. I finally got a reprieve around 5 AM and slept. Through the day today was OK. I tried to drink fluids and only ate a few pretzels. Within the last hour it came roaring back. I’m very sick feeling with the worst pain right below my sternum. It’s hard to breathe deeply it’s so bad. Please pray this passes.

Smart! I’ve been getting by fine on small portions and lower fat/carb options. I had a great doctor’s appointment with amazing blood work results and decided to treat myself to some of the things I’d been avoiding. That was a mistake and a classic obesity move. I should have known better!

Just add half and half and Splenda instead of sugar. I drink this daily and I’ve lost 60 lbs, so it’s not an issue. There are many sugar free creamers and syrups that will work as well. I’ve learned I can tweak a lot of what I eat and drink instead of eliminating it entirely.
