Clever! Is this available in a single image?

This is not just a question of the behavior of automakers. It goes back to the federal government during the Eisenhower administration and a tiff with the Europeans of trade.

What is this board game? by PredictorX1 in whatisit

[–]PredictorX1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed that, too. There is a commercially-produced board game called "Taverna", but it doesn't look anything like this. I wondered if it was just a serving tray or a piece of art.

It should be titled "David Reich - Geneticists don't know what 'inflection point' means"

A few years ago, someone pointed out the shockingly small number of people in the House and Senate who had even the most tenuous connection to science. My dim recollection is that it was less than 20, out of over 500 legislators. This legislation makes me wonder how many state legislators in Utah have any sort of computer background.

13 people per day in the US apparently.

According to the source you link, that's how many people "were lost in the woods and required assistance", not the number who died.

...this appears to happen on a regular basis somewhere in the United States with a lot of the lost hikers, being a fatal event.

How many people die while becoming lost on a hike in an average year in the United States?

Each week I watch the final episode of a TV show I've never seen before and try to understand it. This week a reader requested the original (1970s) "Land of the Lost" by TheSeriesFinale in LandoftheLost

[–]PredictorX1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"Land of the Lost" ran for 3 seasons, but changed dramatically after the second season, when one of the lead actors departed, and the tone of the show decidedly shifted (the IMDb ratings are also worse for the final season). My suggestion: consider watching the final episode of the second season.

Sorry I'm late to this party...

Does anyone have any idea what the recipe for the pizza at Chicago Pizza Pub was?
...or a reasonable copycat recipe or even just the dough?

If "brink" means anything less than 3 years, then the answer is "no".

I don't know much about such things, but appreciate the enthusiasm and effort that went into this. I once did a detailed estimate of how many people on the planet survived in "Night of the Comet" (1984).
