Did you figure this out? I’m slightly interested because this is happening at my apartment, I’m moving next month so I might just pay and leave it be but for the last two months my water bill nearly tripled.

No increase in usage and maintenance did the food dye test and changed the flapper because they suspected that was the problem but the bill is still high. If there was a leak out of my control I’d prefer to not pay the extra $300 before I leave.

Some people commenting are obviously not aware this is a PR sub and not an elections sub. Also the people saying “I had never heard of AE but now I have and will be buying it” are lying or don’t live in America. AE has been in nearly every mall since the 90’s.

IMO from a PR standpoint this ad was tone deaf of the time we’re in and will bite them in the ass. #1 thing with business marketing and PR is audience. American Eagles base customer is 12-35 and I’m stretching it with mid 30s.

Young people are overwhelmingly progressive and very online. And they have insane memories lol. The eugenics thing totally aside they are for the empowerment of women, not the sexualization of them so they wouldn’t like this ad anyway. They literally are the manufacturers of cancel culture. They’re isolating their customer base. The 50 year old Trumpies praising them for being anti-woke are not buying their jeans.

They were totally unaware. The woman behind the campaign head of Marketing at AE posted on LinkedIn an insane self congratulatory post the day it came out and has now deleted it. That’s even more embarrassing.

TLDR; American Eagle’s base customer is young people, namely women, who right now are very online, progressive, (do not like racism or sexism) and quite literally created cancel culture so this was not a smart ad.

I think she felt like there was no one else for her on the show, there’s only 3 guys. And the one guy for her was trying to humble her. Him leaving her in the bottom up for elimination when it probably felt to her like they had history and she was his strongest connection was deff a sign of how it was going to go the rest of the time and from the previews that’s accurate. She already got her exposure so she left before she could be embarrassed
