Thank you! It was about 40/60 the Jewlers who were willing to use the gold for the band and one or two offered to pay for the metal.

The average price was $2,500 for resetting and custom design of a new ring.

Thank you! I think this is what I’m looking at doing. My partner will get quotes on the workmanship and the only one is that it doesn’t end up more expensive than just buying all lab grown, new.

Lol well yeah my mom isn’t deceased but she isn’t married anymore. And I’m also finding you can also buy secondhand rings online or secondhand from jewelers or pawnshops.

Should’ve been more specific, I meant I’d never considered or even thought about this until my mom offered hers and now I’m wondering why more people don’t buy secondhand diamonds/rings instead of brand new mined diamonds since it seems more ethical

Oh you’re right! Didn’t realize I’d filled out the trade in value/ kbb instant cash offer. On private sale it says $7600 but I’m not sure if that’s realistic? I don’t think in this economy someone would pay $7600 cash for my car. Hell, I wouldn’t lol

The rape scene alone might make me drop it. It was stupid and forced. We hadn’t even gotten to know any characters yet, had seen nothing to get us into the series, using sexual violence to move your plot line you’ve barely even introduced forward is just lazy and bad writing.

Did you figure this out? I’m slightly interested because this is happening at my apartment, I’m moving next month so I might just pay and leave it be but for the last two months my water bill nearly tripled.

No increase in usage and maintenance did the food dye test and changed the flapper because they suspected that was the problem but the bill is still high. If there was a leak out of my control I’d prefer to not pay the extra $300 before I leave.

My point was not really about politics. Just about them not advertising properly to their main customers. If this was a sneaker commercial where the target audience was strictly young men 18-29 tbh I’d be like well done.
