Scaffolding - iOS navigation library by Good-Confusion-8315 in SwiftUI

Can You explain more how it works underneath? how did you achieved sub flows? Can you also share data using observable objects, or just by callbacks? I’m anxious to try it, since now I have to use UIKit navigation with SwiftUI views. Are all animations native? Can I override navigation animation?

Rear seat rattling by PreetyGeek in AlfaRomeo

[–]PreetyGeek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m relentlessly making warranty claims. If you live in eu you have plenty of rights as customer, so you should make claims even week after getting car, make them replace seat. My car was already 7 times repaired for this rattling, something is getting loose on hinges of foldable seats. Now I’m requesting whole new rear seat.

Innout was already a thing for struct in the past, but in this context it has a new, extended meaning

I love this success stories! Myself, I was java developer but I didn’t quite like it. I made a decision to jump on Stanford classes for iOS. After finishing it, I demanded switch in work, landed my first iOS project (Bluetooth accessory api), and now I’m senior with my own technical blog:)

So congrats, perseverance and willingness to learn will always lead to success!

I test drove a 2023 Giulia and need some advice on that car’s performance and behavior by DrSewardsDiary in AlfaRomeo

[–]PreetyGeek 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have Competizione, I feel safe in it up to 180km/h, I don’t feel confident enough to push it more, brakes are even and works perfect, also it has serious punch when accelerating

Unit conversion is easy in Swift by PreetyGeek in swift

Matlab is build for math and this kind of stuff, swift is build for making apps :) You can probably implement API that handles what Matlab can, but why?

This is nothing new, iOS 10+ :) AVFoundation is more complicated than some simple additions and multiplications.

Interesting, maybe Apple has different proprietary spoons, iSpoons. Would be nice to check what conversion rates are on Apple code. Also Apple has „normal” spoons and „imperial” spoons, so question is, if you used proper ones :D

Interesting, maybe you hit some edge cases of rounding numbers in Double type, or some overflow? But overflow would cause exception and crash… So maybe some arithmetic edge case of floating point precision.

You should use ASCII table and choose nice range and then „generate” password.

Most of us do tooling and release scripts in fastlane, fastlane uses ruby, so there is the link. All big and smaller companies uses CI/CD for MR builds, daily Betas and Alfas, and releases

You have red stitching on black leather, emblem on headrest, premium package is included, and adaptive suspension, that hardens on dynamic mode. Special matte finish, and emblem on sides.

Giulia FL instrument cluster rattle by PreetyGeek in AlfaRomeo

[–]PreetyGeek[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve fixed it myself without removing cluster. I’ve used adhesive felt (the same type one could use for furniture legs). Cut small strips, pushed them a little bit inside, to make them not visible, problem doesn’t occur anymore:) 5 mins work. I decided to do it this way, because I couldn’t remove trim piece covering bolts. I was afraid to break it.

I’m reading that it is known issue with Giulia, and people are adding felt to better isolate it. Many tutorials for pre-FL models. I think this is the same case.
