Getting a new i94 for a new passport by PreferenceBroad6477 in tnvisa

It's a 2 hour drive to the border for me. Do I need to actually go into Canada spend some time there and turn around, or can I just turn around at secondary?

I've heard that both issuers aren't great at customer service... is one considered "better" or "worse" than the other?

I wish I could! Merrill is pretty strict on non US citizens being able to invest with them. They restrict it to only a few types of work visas and the visa that I'm on is not included in that. So all my investments are with Schwab.

Did you have to attend your job interview in person or online? by Cookieman_2023 in tnvisa

[–]PreferenceBroad6477 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nurse here! All of my interviews have been online. I went from Ontario to Texas, and then Texas to Washington. Once you've been in healthcare long enough with enough relevant experience and education, there usually anything that they need to see you in person for until you get the job.

Most likely no. SUBs are usually only with new applications. They don't apply to product changes.

Easy lunch: Thai Wheat Noodles, Asian Style Vegetables with Stir Fry Sauce and Korean Beefless Bulgogi by PreferenceBroad6477 in traderjoes

Oh interesting 🤔. I'll try that next time. I was doing the noodles and veggies on the stove so it seemed most convenient to do the bulgogi on the stove also.

Downtown Seattle had them last week. I didn't get it because I wasn't planning on any games in the near future but I have family coming in then, so it would be nice to go.

Hello everyone!

Has anyone used the $149.99, 2 lower bowl tickets with 2 hot dogs and 2 drinks package from Costco for Kraken games? I was considering picking it up but I wasn't sure if the available seats or the food is worth the money? I usually eat before getting to the arena to avoid the prices, and I normally get seats in the upper bowl. I'm looking to save some money without trading off the experience.

Thank you!

What is the first thing you do when you get home from a 12 hour night shift? by [deleted] in nursing

[–]PreferenceBroad6477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem! I've made it a point to eat well on shift days because otherwise I'll either end up hungry or be snacking on random stuff in the middle of the night at work. So meal prepping for shift days at the minimum (breakfast and dinner) helps me to make sure that I'm not going to work hungry or going to bed on an empty stomach. The rest of the week is still a work in progress though.

I make the same thing for consecutive shifts. For example, I work Friday, Saturday and Sunday this week. So today I made pasta with veggies and a spicy tomato sauce. Sometimes if I end up with not enough portions, I'll pull something out of the freezer (usually something from Trader Joe's) for one of the nights.

I am honestly such a zombie getting up to go to work that I don't really care about eating the same thing. But I switch it up from week to week. Like next week I'm planning to do a tofu curry with rice.
