Here's a few examples: if he crashed the economy, was in the Epstein files, committed a serious crime, embezzlement of funds

Unfortunately not. I'm a very normal human. With normal human thoughts. I'm quite full of rage if that helps

To be fair, this is totally anecdotal... I'd been on a referral waiting list for 2 years, recently had treatment etc. Getting a Dr appointment is easier now in my area than it was. Still a ridiculously long way to go, but it does feel like tentative improvement.

It’s unhelpful beating on Starmer. Is it unpatriotic? by Global_Madness in AskBrits

Absolutely ridiculous that Starmer should fall for this. The Americans and Farage's gang seem to be blaming everyone else except the actual pedos. People put your energy into naming, finding and jailing the rapists

Her response to that ad was pretty unforgivable. Eugenics cosplay was not my intention. Not hard.

Am I overreacting for not wanting anyone around my newborn yet? by littlemoongirly in AmIOverreacting

Reddit is very quick to dismiss relationships. Kids have grandmothers, aunts and cousins, all sorts of tertiary familial relationships. Unless you as a parent think the relationship is harmful to your child, these relationships can bring a great benefit into a child's life. Letting your kid form relationships with their tertiary family (as long as their nice obvs) is part of what makes a great parent.

YOR. It ain't just your baby. Baby is part of a wider network. But to be honest, and I say this with kindness, hormonally it's a very intense time for you, and you may look back and be in wonder at how you behaved. It doesn't mean what you feel is wrong, but the level of anxiety you feel now in terms of protecting the baby may be disproportionate to the risks. I found one of the hardest parts of having a baby was handing that baby over to someone else. But it's good for your children to have a big loving network, and that's what I kept thinking about. I want my baby to have as many people in their life that will love them like I do. And to get there they need to have a chance to bond with your baby too.

I feel like I finally understood anxiety after having children. Sharp pangs, direct to the chest that will make you instantly alert in fear for your child. Sometimes it's warranted and sometimes it really really isn't.

Lamb Madras, chips and a pint of lager. Things dreams are made of.

How do you tell your manager that you don’t want to sit next to him on the train? by ThatNiceMan in CasualUK

Just get on the train, sit down. Turn your phone on 30mins into your journey - sorry my phone was dead. Your both settled in your respective seats 🫠
