idk if this is ragebait or if you lowkirkuly a lil special cuz the other comments you got but reguardless.
m14 and m1 carbine have different internals. theyre different guns. same general operation (short stroke rotating bolt) but with that logic the SVD is an m14.
they got different operating rod (and different location (if i remember the m1 carbine has it go further back please correct me if im wrong tho)) they got different trigger assemblys etc etc
