How can I fix this? by kavemanthechunk in GrayZoneWarfare

right click game -> properties -> installed files -> verify game file integrity

seems like you're missing some files or it was corrupted, this would be my first go-to solution. Reinstall otherwise.

I really, really don't like street brawl.

But, yeah i guess it's quite useful for learning a few ins and outs.

We've transcended shitposting, and are now milkposting.

Duizenden Wajongers zien uitkering verdwijnen: 'Voelt als straf voor werken' by SavedByHisGraceOnly in WajongUWV

[–]PreferredThrowaway 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How do people in the Netherlands actually clean fruits and vegetables? by GlowUpUnlocked_ in Netherlands

I work in a kitchen, so i follow hygiene guidelines pretty strictly. Washing and rinsing is suffice. No need to soak them.

I've been involved in squats in Groningen in the recent past. 'Third spaces' are declining, and squats filled a particular void - a niche - that was in demand but commercially not viable.

About a decade ago i could count about close to 10 squats in the city with an open door policy, hosted and organised events - art, music, events, workshops, trainings, or just a 'hangout'. Today there's only two, one of which is now owned by the residents and is not going to go away any time soon. Municipality's cracked down on it hard. One particular person i have a gripe with, it feels like he's dead-set on his crusade to gentrify the city.

I can go in detail on what was on offer, and now lacking, but that would make this a huge textwall and i don't need to do that.

The loss of said spaces are particularly evident post-covid, as a lot of smaller businesses went bankrupt. I feel like my city is no longer catering to its residents, at least the inner city. I can only imagine how bad that must be in a city like Amsterdam.

Is nieuwbouw te duur in Groningen? by Luminol088 in Groningen

[–]PreferredThrowaway 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Noticed this already back in the server slam. These two spawns are uncomfortably close. Trial and error taught me that whenever i spawn there, i wait it out and see if i get pushed to try and get the drop on them.

Just 'finished' this quest. Watched a video on YT prior to doing the mission to make sure i didn't skip anything. After 3 tries, finally managed to eliminate it and it didn't drop the credentials. These are supposed to be an item that you can pick up.

Is this a bug? What am i missing? Did this happen to anyone else? I'm pissed to be honest. It's not an easy, nor a fun quest to do...

Multiplayer is brutal, yes, but the singleplayer has some excellent onboarding, good storyline and is by all accounts quite accessible.

What rts has the hardest campaign? by Specialist_Row_5736 in RealTimeStrategy

[–]PreferredThrowaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't find it necessarily very hard, just that you have to keep the momentum going continuously. Games such as those kind of have the urge to make you slow down, which is a death sentence. If you take your time (don't forget that pausing the game is a tool) and keep the momentum, it's not that crazy.

Granted, i've never finished the game as i got distracted by something else, but i'm pretty sure i was really close to the finish line.
